Good value
Really good, I like this hose a lot and the quality is excellent.

Excellent
I originally bought another hose which was cheaper and faulty!! You live and learn! This hose however, is the bomb! Although, its expandable it doesn't retract as much as other thinner hoses as the hose pipe is thicker thus less likely to explode due to high water pressure. However, it's easily folds away and fits in its original box and takes up very little room. The hose casing is nice and thick and hasn't scuffed during use. The nozzle itself, is very well made, sturdy, comfortable in hand and really easy to use. The water spray itself is excellent, l guess that all comes down to water pressure. The fitting are brass l believe and fit external tap.

Buy longer than you need.
This is a good hose. However, I measured what i thought i needed (50ft) but when the hose was stretched to its max length and full of water the water pressure dropped off because i needed to stretch it fully to get to 50ft and it felt like it was overstreched. I brought a 100ft version and that is great for the 50ft distance i needed. I recommend buying a hose that is double the length required or at least 20ft more than required Also it says attachments are metal which they seem to be but they are very light and feel cheap, almost like gold coloured aluminum. No leaks after 2 uses (review done same day the hose arrived) The hose is lightweight and compact when it is drained of water. Happy with purchase.

Excellent
This hose is excellent. It seems strong and durable. I recently bought a hose from another online seller which promised to treble its size when using, but this did not happen; neither did that come with a hose gun which had to be bought separately. So I sent the whole lot back and got a refund. However, this hose does exactly what it says. It stretches as it fills with water and is long enough to water down my entire, albeit small, garden. It comes with the gun attached and this in itself is excellent as it has quite a few different types of spray. All-in-all then this was a very good choice and I'm very pleased.

Great hose!
Really pleased with this hose. Watering is now a joy whereas before battling with a rigid plastic hose on a cumbersome reel, frustated with kinks and a bad, leaky connection, it wasn't fun at all. The fittings are well made and so far no leaks. The rose is good quality with a good choice of settings, the handle is plastic coated so your hand doesn't get cold. The flow switch is easy to use too. I got the orange and black hose, and I can't help bit marvel at how like a snake it looks when it's filling or emptying with water! I was advised by someone who had one of these designs to keep it away from brambles or anything sharp as they do puncture easily.

Pros and cons!
This is my second expanding hose. My previous was the original style from a well known brand which these get compared to in the advertising images. It seem like a thinner but tougher nylon, canvas-like material. First thing I never realised is the density of the weave 3450D. There are actually some rated higher than this. So this does have brass fittings which feel nice quality but obviously are heavier than the plastic fittings. I really like the spray gun head that comes with this much more than my previous one. It feels good, nice grip, easy to change the settings and there’s a thumb operated lever to turn on and off the water but is also so easy to adjust to whatever pressure is needed. This is a good design Since easily operated with one hand. Other then the brass fittings, the hose is pretty nice weight and very flexible. It doesn’t tangle easily and when finished and emptied it shrinks back and is easy to coil up and store. Now the negatives… The brass connection where the spray gun connects has no shut off like the plastic connectors and no valve so can’t take the gun off to change to another fitting or connect to something else or the water just pours through. This is a real pain because I take the hose up stairs to the higher part of my garden and if I need to do this, I have to go back down, turn the water off but then the hose also starts to shrink back to normal size so have to take it back down the stairs again. This should definitely have an auto or shut off valve at the brass fitting. The other issue is the casing itself. It does feel nice and very soft but what isn’t mentioned is that it catches on things so easily! Maybe it’s fine if you have a smooth path, walls and open garden but mine has caught on little things you don’t even notice, like a piece of cement on the path or a stone on the wall and it pulls a tuft out the soft polyester casing so it starts to stop looking so neat and nice. I’ll have to see how long it takes till this starts causing issues. This is something that rarely happened with the nylon casing. Also bare in mind that the well known brand original expanding hose has a warranty when registered of 5 years and this comes with only 1 year. So good hose If you Have nothing for it to snag on and will never need to take the spray gun head off but I wish I had bought one of the versions that have the lever to shut off the water at the brass valve. Appreciate a thumbs up if this is helpful to some of you.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Quality and Durable
I bought this expandable hose pipe last year, and it’s still in perfect condition. The quality is excellent, very durable, tangle-resistant, and easy to clean. The connections are secure and leak-free, making it hassle-free to use. I’m really impressed and highly recommend it!

Poor, no waterstop valves
Poor. These types of hoses don't last forever so I didn't put too much stock into the reviews mentioning leaks and burst pipes. But actually that's not the main problem. The main problem is the quick connect end pieces. 1) they don't have the water stop feature standard for quick connect fittings. Initially that just seemed annoying but that alone I considered returning for 2) not brass. I knew from other reviews they weren't brass but the yellow coating over light cheap metal was uglier than I thought. If you want to use aluminium just leave them aluminium coloured, the gaudy yellow ain't fooling anyone 3) back pressure! The nature of this hose is that the elastic creates pressure within the hose. This means there's pressure in an unusual direction, back towards the tap. It was instantly sprayed everywhere, not from it's own fittings, but the one attached to the tap! This would have been prevented if the ends had the standard water stop valves, because they prevent water from moving backwards. The hose itself seems nice enough, and the gun seems fine, if a little light and plasticy. I appreciate the thumb valve over the usual trigger mechanism as I have weakness in my hands. Can't swap the end pieces out sadly because they're integral. Can't leave it pressurised, which I kinda understand due to the nature of the elastic, but also doesn't really suit my use case. I'd normally just accept the additional wear and tear, but that's not an option due to the leaking. May try fussing with the plumbers floss and gaskets to see if I can shore up that connection, but it will have to wait until my back recovers, and I may still return it.
