My First Book About Engineering (Dover Science For Kids Coloring Books)

Our 6yo is really into designing things and science we thought this would be a great introduction to engineering. I love how the content is easy to understand for a kid yet is not so watered down and over simplified from what real engineering is. I was afraid our kid wouldn’t be into it given that it’s not the typical colorful kid’s book with cute drawings but he absolutely loves it and has lead him to get more interested in various types of engineering. Very smart book, brilliant content and just perfect for introducing kids to engineering.

I thought that this was a good book for teaching purposes

My grandkids enjoyed this very much. It helps us not-as-smart grandparents get a grasp about what the Briiliant grandkids are talking about.

Very doodley and distracting. All are in black and white mostly like some kind of blueprints. In General, not so bad but I would not recommend this as an interesting activity for kids. There are far more better books for it.

My son is a very hands on mathematical child and this book was great for him.

This was a gift and his parents told me it's his "go to book"
