Look, we all know this is a clone of another filter that is red, oiled, and two letters in its name. We also know that a majority of us like that red oiled filter but it is a hassle to clean it, let it dry, oil it again, and put it back in.. Especially since you are down a vehicle while you wait for it to dry. This thing flows air nicely, traps dirt just fine, and lets your vehicle breathe. At a price that makes it well worth getting it and then replacing it when it's time. The oiled brand you still have to pay for the cleaning and oiling chemicals, if you put too much you are blowing your MAF and if you put too little you are blowing your motor cause it doesn't trap particles as well. Bottom line, its a drop in, boost at the pedal, that gets a little better mileage in a 2.0L Horizontal Opposed motor. I am happy with the results.

Appears to be very high quality at a great price. Very easy to install. The dealer wanted to charge me 5 times what this filter cost - save your money and replace it yourself.

Watched a YT video on how to install it without disassembling a lot as per the manual. I think the video didn't cover it, but I also had to pull up the plastic air tunnel that feeds the air filter box, in order to create a sufficient opening to pull the old and insert the new filter.

I have come to like this brand after installing in two of my cars. I put it in a 2007 Saturn Sky that has under 25000 miles on it. I also put one on a 2020 Subaru WRX with turbo. With my two comparisons I have no complaints. Even with the turbo it provides plenty of air. Good price good fit can't go wrong.
