Excellent Keyboard
First impressions? Wow! This keyboard has a really great, sturdy feeling to it, a result of its great build quality. The brushed finish really fits well with any desk setup. These Cherry MX Browns are the first mechanical switches I've used, and while they almost felt "cheap" at first, after typing on them a while I can really see why people love them so much. They seem to improve my typing speed a ton, and the anti-ghosting is really great for gaming. Some people were complaining about it, but the pass-through USB port hasn't given me any trouble whatsoever. You will need the second USB cable on the keyboard plugged in to make use of this pass-through port.Pros:Great build quality.Nice feel to the MX Brown switches.LED lighting is bright and highly customizable (Watch some tutorials first! The CUE software can be a bit much). It's heavy, and sits firmly on the desk. The rubber feet ensure that it doesn't wobble or slide.Detachable wrist rest has a really nice finish to it.Decently priced.Things that might bother some people:If you get the MX Browns, they are quite loud! The braided USB cable is heavy and not highly flexible. Feels like a rope you could tow a truck with!Coming from a laptop keyboard with a low profile, the jump to this mechanical keyboard takes some getting used to.The volume wheel sits slightly lower than the adjacent mute button - it's minor but noticeable when looking at it.Things that bother me:The lower edge of the spacebar is quite sharp and squared, and since the keyboard sits so high up on the desk, my thumb rests on this sharp edge rather than on the top of the spacebar, which gets uncomfortable after a while. The CUE software has its share of issues. I'd HIGHLY recommend *backing up all of your profiles* as the CUE software will delete profiles randomly. It's not an every day occurrence, but every few weeks, I'll boot up my computer just to have half of my profiles corrupted and deleted. If they're backed up it's not a huge problem, but the first few times I was caught off guard, and it was a real bummer. You can reassign any key with the CUE software. You can't however reassign a Modifier+Key though. So I can't assign Ctrl+K to an action for example. This is annoying, and seems like it should definitely be something that needs to be implemented in a later version of the software.Other thoughts:You can store a static color to the keyboard's memory, allowing you to keep some of the keyboard's appearance even without the CUE software running. The keyboard's lighting turns off when the computer is in sleep mode, and pressing a key will still wake the computer. The F5 key on my keyboard has a slight chip in the black paint, which lets a little light through where it shouldn't be.There is a slight defect on the Rewind key, but it can't be seen unless looking closely.I'd definitely recommend this product to others. I'm not one bit regretful that I purchased this.

It's very easy to snap on and off
This is for the K70 LUX RGB with brown switches.Pros:1. Comes with a removable wrist rest that tilts depending on the incline of the keyboard. It's very easy to snap on and off.2. Has feet on both the front and the back - so you can tilt the keyboard up, down, or raise the whole thing up a little.3. You can assign each key a different light. There is also a button to cycle the lights through low, medium, high, and off.4. Has a button to lock the windows key, which is useful for gaming.5. Dedicated media keys. Volume control is a wheel and there is a mute key. You don't have to push "function" to use them.6. Keys are raised (or rather, there's nothing covering them). Some people might not like the look of this, but I actually think it looks better in person than it does in photos.7. Keys are removable and it comes with the tool to do so. Combined with the raised keys, it's very easy to clean this keyboard.8. Comes with a couple of extra keys that are grey, textured, and have an exaggerated slope on them. You can see the WASD keys I replaced in my photos.9. The cord is suuuuuuper thick. I have a photo of the cord next to a normal plastic coated cord to show the difference.10. Comes with a USB slot on the back.11. It's sturdy. The top is some sort of metal.Cons:1. Wrist guard is textured with tiny circle indents. I spilled some food on it, and I still can't clean it completely. It's a sort of soft rubbery plastic (if that makes sense), which is nice, but it also gets smudges on it that are hard to get off.2. Only one USP port in the back. I really wanted a headphone socket since the one on my computer case is messed up. However, I was able to just buy an adapter to plug into the keyboard (easier to reach than my case). But it does sort of ruin the "profile" of the keyboard to have that sticking out.3. The stop, fast forward, reverse, etc. keys are above the number pad. Because the regular keys are raised so high, it can be a little awkward trying to reach them. I personally don't use them often, so it's not a big deal.4. It takes up two USB slots on your computer. Kind of cancels out the fact that it has one built in.5. As someone who has never owned a keyboard like this before, it wasn't completely obvious to me at first how to change the lights on the keys. You have to go to the Corsair website to download the software, first. And the software was a little confusing, but I eventually figured it out. If anything, the worst part is trying to be decisive about what colors you want to use.Other notes:1. The light flows out from underneath the keys. I liked my old Logitech keyboard where only the letters on the keys lit up. But this style seems pretty common to most back-lit keyboards I've seen. It's a little flashier than I need it to be, but it's not as glaring in person as it looks online - and some people might prefer it this way.2 It's definitely louder than your "normal office keyboard", but not nearly as bad as most mechanical keyboards I've heard. With my headphones on it's not an issue, but I share a space with someone else. Some people might love the sound of it, but others might find it annoying. I adapted to it pretty quickly, personally. My cons are pretty minor. My only real complaint is the Amazon product page - I'm still not completely sure what the difference is between each of the keyboards. But I love the one I got!
