Love This HomeKit/Siri Compatible Smart Light Bulb
It’s one of my favorite Siri controlled smart home devices. I have four of these light bulbs and they work very well with Apple HomeKit and Siri. Have them in my kitchen, bedroom, garage, and outdoor porch. I like changing light color and intensity on the fly with Siri. I’ve had the porch light bulb for a few years and am extremely impressed that it works so well during the freezing cold Wisconsin winters.Might try programing an automation for the bedroom nightstand light bulb to gradually wake me up in the morning with the sunlight color option where the light automatically turns on at a very dim 1% intensity level slowly increasing to a bright 100% over a predetermined time simulating waking up to natural sunlight.

Not a bad product - updated 3/30/25 - good support via email
I've purchased several of these for a bath remodel. Had some questions. Help line never answered and no help through messages.Use at least a 5" can with these. If you turn the switch off, when you turn it back on, it will take a bit of time for them all to reconnect to the WIFI but that should be expected. It creates its own little mesh network so that's nice. No problems connecting to HomeKit.I'm happy with the product but just concerned about no support and the longevity of the company.3/30/25 - Update. I've started a new project and needed extension cables. Took the risk and sent an e-mail. They responded quickly. - They don't sell those but recommended using 3rd party products. They didn't recommend a brand, but that should be expected as recommending one company over another could cause them problems.

LIFX is amazing
I have two bulbs from LIFX and both have been flawless. Getting connected to Alexa was effortless and the functionality of the bulb is perfect. I have purchased a pack of 6 candelabra bulbs from another company and 5 of the 6 bulbs connected fine but, one of them had to keep getting reset. I’m sticking with LIFX here on out. The cost is worth it. I am a big fan of this brand right now.

Great solution for remotely controlling security lights
Quite pleased with these bulbs! I put 2 of them in an exterior 2 headded flood light on my garage. The instructions were good but the video made it all the More easier. I had issues with using the qr code to add the bulbs to the app, but the add manually feature was a breeze. The app is easy to use and I have added it to my Google home so all I have to to is tell Google to turn on the garage lights. Also have created a schedule for evening and morning.

If I could give zero stars I would
I bought enough of these to install in all of my canister lights which is about 18 lights in all. It was expensive but cheaper than buying hue bulbs which I have in all of my regular lights. Ill just say off the bat that the hue bulbs are far and away the better product. These lights are massive pain to get set up. They come with a code on a piece of paper in the box to set up each light with home kit. Why not put that code on the light itself so you can identify which bulb is which? (something that hue bulbs have) Good question....Anyway the piece of paper has a home kit code on it - the results of that working are hit or miss - so go to the website and see what other options there are. Well you can set the lights up directly through wifi ---- but only after the lights have been on for 30 min....ok...inconvenient but ill wait. So I wait the 30 min and they show up in wifi networks and then i try to set them up which works for about maybe 1/4 of the bulbs. The rest of them just time out in the setup process. So I get 6 or 7 working and once connected they work pretty well. But then a few days go by and suddenly they no longer connect when I launch the app. So none of them work now without trying to go through the setup process again. And what if I want to setup the ones that were working????? well hope you wrote down which ones worked in the first place because like I said there are no identifiers on the bulbs themselves. Overall the bulbs are terrible because the actual connection is completely unstable and even if you get them connected to the app they don't stay connected. Do yourself a favor and buy other bulbs. As of right now I have 18 "Smart" bulbs that wont even connect to the app......waste of money. Support has been unhelpful and stopped responding.

What is for my vanity no regrets.
The smart lights are excellent, they are bright and vivid with colorful LED lighting. No complaints with the units themselves only complaint is with the lyfx app. For connecting them.

Working great
Bought two of those recently as I was experiencing issues finding Phillips bulbs anywhere. I mostly use BR30 bulb type around the house and I was intrigued about the shape of the LIFX bulbs. They definitely are different but the shape is not affecting the bulb performance while they do stick out a little more out of the niches if you look closely enough. The bulbs were priced much better than the Phillips I normally purchase while I think Phillips bulbs are overpriced to start with but I like them and never had any issues with them since I have started using them and that is at least 4 years now. LIFX bulbs are performing very well and are brighter overall which can be helpful at times. It seems that there are a few options right out of the box to manage color changes that make it easier to manage than Phillips, I recall using different apps for those and eventually just keeping it to the simplest settings and changing colors with voice commands. The only place I have struggled with the LIFX bulb and that happened for both of them and one more time when I lost control of one is the install and connection to Alexa. For whatever reason this took me longer than setting up a new router and frustrated me more....when done all was working as designed. Not blaming the manufacturer here but not straightforward for me. Great bulbs so far and will certainly buy more as I keep expanding on my quest to be switch independent (or whatever!).
