Exactly what I expected, after fitting some leather strip to the jaws it is exactly like the more expensive model, works great.

As you can see when it's closed the two sides don't touch each other making the item useless for thin leather moreover: two screws are ruined, different from the others as it has been repaired and one is also out of its place.

Leather stitching pony
This Leather stitching pony is really good. I say this because the main objective of it is to free your hands up while you work and it does just that.There is a little adjustment in both firmness of its grip and adjustability while working.You are able to rotate the neck, ( the standing up section) , 360' or fix it firmly in one position if required.If you decide to sit on the base while you are working, you soon forget that it's there to be honest. There are no sharp edges as the maker has rounded them off.Overall I would give it 5/5. 👍
