Q: If ironed on the inside, can you see the glue on the outside, does it seep through?

My jeans had split out in the rear by a pocket. So the split was vertical and approx 4 inches long.. I ironed the patch from the inside keeping the split closed up tightly on the outside.... Need to be part octopus but it worked... Very happy with a 15 minute fix for someone who would never attempt to use a sewing machine.... Cannot see the patch from the outside.......... and no glue seeped through.. Very happy

Q: I want to iron these on under a hole so it will show through. but won't it be shiny? and glue looking? the hole is big. thanks

Yes, I think it would be shiny. You would probably have to put a piece of matching material over the sticky shiny part of the patch. I would think it would be hard to iron on a patch over a big hole without some fabric for it to stick to.

Q: Would this patch fix ripped back pockets from the inside of back pocket?

I don't see why not. I have used them on the inside to prevent wear through from my prosthetic device.

Q: Do you need fabric glue to apply the patch on?

No, patch already has glue, the hot iron melts the glue
