Great hot sauce, and this is the cheapest way to buy it
I bought this because it was on the tables of my favorite Mexican restaurants (a pretty good endorsement) and really liked it. It’s got a really nice blend of flavor without too much heat, which makes it great to use on things like sandwiches and in soups as I do every day to jazz them up a bit. On a per ounce basis this can be a bit pricey in the stores, but in this bulk box its actually much cheaper, and I find using the packets to be very convenient because one packet turns out to be just about perfect for how I use it. Win win! There are other specialty brands out there that can be a bit better, but they’re much more expensive so using as much as I do per day would add up, and this is plenty good enough for my daily uses.

Great for Travel
Great way to take your favorite hot sauce on a cruise, trip or camping without lugging around breakable glass bottles. Packets are just enough for any meal and a way to share this product with others on your travels. No TSA issues with these so you can take some on your carry-on bag. Took 30 packs with me on my last cruise where I used some, traded some for Philippine hot sauces and helped out a fellow passenger that forgot theirs. Love the fact that you get the pepper flavor and heat without the vinegar taste found in other brands.

Cholula
This is the original Cholula. It's consistent in quality and flavor. The bulk packets make it easy to slip into a plastic container in a handbag and carry anywhere. I haven't had a package leak yet, but I place them in a small, flat plastic container that holds, because I don't want to chance getting hot sauce in my bag, but I want to have it with me to add to meals out.

The Ultimate Popcorn Seasoning (Low Calorie, Spicy, Buttery Flavor)
Cholula is a mild, but nicely flavored hot sauce. Granted, I have a very high tolerance for hot sauces — my go-to brand that I casually apply to nearly anything is Tabasco which ranges from as low as 3,500 to upwards of 8000 Scovilles (usually around 5000). Cholula, by contrast, is a mere 1,000 scovilles. I wouldn't keep Cholula on hand except for one reason: Popcorn A friend of mine introduced me to the idea of putting hot sauce on popcorn some years back using Frank's Red Hot. That hot sauce is very mild (450 Scovilles) and really best suited for helping making Buffalo Wing Hot Sauce, but it went pretty well on the popcorn. My father is a bit of a hot sauce connoisseur and happened to have Cholula on hand and suggested we try it. Lo and behold, it was amazing! I am a buttery popcorn fiend, but this was nearly as good! The Cholula imbues the popcorn with some spice, but also a mock butter flavor that seems to fool everyone. To get the best result you need three things, including the Cholula. 1st: Good quality, OIL-POPPED, popcorn. I use Orville Redenbacher's Gourmet Popping Corn made in a Whirley-Pop Stovetop Popcorn Popper using Canola Oil. I recommend 3.5 ounces of popcorn kernels to about 0.8 ounces of Canola Oil. 2nd: Popcorn Salt. This finely pressed salt is extremely lightweight and will adhere to damn-near anything. Both my father and I use this brand: Popcorn & Nut Salt (I've had my can for over 2 years and there is plenty of it left and I like VERY salty popcorn.) 3rd: This Cholula Hot Sauce — I use upwards of 4 ounces per bowl (my favorite popcorn bowl: Browne Foodservice S878 Bowl ), but you can adjust to taste. DIRECTIONS: After making the popcorn in the oil popper of your choice, put it into your bowl of choice, then shake on some salt, squirt on a few ropes of Cholula, then toss the popcorn into the air (a few inches, nothing dramatic) using the bowl so as to mix it up. Then apply more salt, more Cholula, and so on. Repeat for a total of about 4 times so that nearly every kernel has a spec of red on it, and you are good to go. I switched to buying the Cholula in bulk because I was running through the in-store bottles very rapidly and it was getting expensive. One of the small bottles maybe lasts me 4 bowls of popcorn. I recommend putting the Canola Oil and the Cholula into these restaurant-style Plastic Squeeze Condiment Bottles as they make the whole process much faster and reduce clean-up. Like most hot sauces, the Cholula does NOT need to be refrigerated.

Love this hot sauce. Sometimes when order the expiry is very close. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5. For most part though love this stuff.

Above, it's great mild hot sauce but not worth $70 + tax. It should be selling for about $50!!!

This is our "old faithful" always have on hand hotsauce, and the small bottles are usually 6.99. this works out to be less than 1/2 price per bottle amount at 50$ for the jug. Way more bang for your buck in this form.
