Great light bar
I opted for a more permanent installation using screws with mounting brackets due to concerns with the reliability of the suction cups. I installed this in the back window of a 2018 Chevy Tahoe which has factory tint. This light bar is extremely bright and the lights are easily visible through the tint, even in daylight. I did have to purchase an extension wire in order to have enough length to run the control panel to the front dashboard, but it works fantastic. I highly recommend using COB LEDs due to brightness alone. This does require a 12-Volt power outlet in close proximity to the mounting location. Luckily Chevy had one pre-installed in the Tahoe at the rear lift gate. The control module has an on/off button and a memory function which is very handy. If you use the left/center/right buttons on the module it will not change the memorized pattern when you press the pattern button which is a nice bonus. You can also cycle through the different patterns for directing traffic left and right by pressing the left/right button multiple times while the unit is on. This gets daily use on multiple occasions and I have had zero issues with reliability. Overall I have been extremely satisfied with the purchase.

Excellent for the price.
This light is very bright but could be just a touch brighter. I am still happy with my purchase and I would buy another. The included control pad is awesome, very small and out of the way. A++Also the suction cups are extremely strong. No problem there.

Suction cups hit or miss, customer service is terrible.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this product in October 2022. I bought another set of lights from the same company (different model, but same suction cups, mounts, and controller) for the front of my vehicle and these went in the back. From day one, I had the same problem I had with my previous light bar (Also from the same company, Xprite), which is the suction cups not retaining suction and the light bar coming loose. I had purchased this newer model when I discovered they had upgraded their suction cups. And don't get me wrong, they are 1000x better than previous models, my front lights have retained suction since day one installation, and they are actually difficult to remove. They've lasted through intense Texas heat. But I'd say they are hit or miss. My light bar in the back (this product) for months would not retain the suction and kept falling down. I contacted support for Xprite and while they did respond to my email initially asking for pictures, (I guess for "proof") they then completely ghosted me, leaving me to deal with this problem on my own. After repeatedly cleaning the suction cups over the course of months, eventually, I got two of them to stick. It will stay with just two, but it'd be nice if they all worked. If you're not going to use the suction cup mounts however, the lights work very well. Nice and bright, multiple patterns to choose from, different modes, nice easy to operate controller. My only qualm with the controller is all the buttons sit flush, maybe that's a design choice but I find it hard to locate the power button with how I have the controller mounted. I alleviate this issue by squirting a drop of super glue right in the middle of the button so I can feel it easier. If customer service is important to you, don't purchase Xprite products. Simple as that. They seem to be a Chinese based company, based on the quality of English on their website, so do with that information what you willXprite, I think you make decent quality products, but your customer service ghosting me is completely unacceptable and that's why I won't be purchasing any more of your products. I hope in the future you improve your customer support.Oh and guys, don't try to play cop and buy the red and blue lights if you're not in law enforcement. You'll probably end up in a YouTube video and everyone will laugh at you. Don't be stupid.

Good light. Bad RF interference.
This is my second light I’ve ordered. The first one arrived damaged and only worked for about a minute before it failed to receive power anymore. This new lightbar is installed in a VFD Tahoe in the rear window. It’s permanently mounted with self drilling screws. The suction cups provided do provide great suction power if the glass or surface is flat, but the Tahoe window is curved and thus they wouldn’t properly adhere.Brightness is fantastic, especially given the price point. It’s not a Whelen but it’s much better than any other non-whelen competitor I’ve seen thus far. Even through heavy tint on the rear window, this light is perfectly visible in daytime and especially at night. The controller is large enough to use without looking at it, and small enough that you can mount it anywhere using a little double sided tape. The flash pattern indicator is a great addition. I’ve seen many traffic advisors that just have buttons with no visual aid and they just expect you know what the current pattern is.Overall, the light is a solid 4/5 as far as I’m concerned. Brightness could be a little brighter (even if the price point goes up) and perhaps in the future include an option for the light modules at each end of the bar to be made red/blue. At this price point, though, it’s definitely a great buy.*UPDATE AS OF 06/27/2024*This light continues to perform very well. It's just as bright now as it was when I purchased, and it has received many compliments. The only bad thing is that when in use, it floods the vehicle with radio-frequency interference. The RF interference is so bad that it drowns out incoming and outgoing radio transmissions with static. This was an issue as soon as it was installed but it was thought that the static could be worked around, but it simply cannot. The RF static even hits on radios outside the vehicle in close proximity. If Xprite offered an upgraded version with the RF interference eliminated then I would purchase it. As it stands, the unit will be removed from the unit.
