I’m a foodie. No other way to describe it, I love my food. And as such, I am always cooking up something new and creative… sweet treats to savory stews, chilled pastas to tender cuts and everything in between.While I change my recipes rather frequently, the one thing that doesn’t change is my use of MSG.If the chef is the brain and the ingredients are the heart, than Umami is the soul.There’s no Umami without MSG!As for the rest:-Packaged simple but never had a problem with one breaking open in transit-Long shelf life… way longer than it lasts in my house-Extremely versatile! It the recipe calls for salt, use this instead and thank yourself later!-It’s a great price for the size of package and you don’t pay extra for a fancy plastic container.A must have for every pantry!

Restaurant quality food at home !
Want more umami ? Buy this.I read reviews on so many different brands this one kept having it pop up that it is the brand restaurants use, and i love us8ng the brands restaurants use.With this all my food is restaurant quality now. Have made a few items where people swear im lying about making it and that I must have ordered it from somewhere. Ha !My favorite dish to put it on is sautéed vegetables cooked in lots of butter. It really helps bring out each individual vegetables flavor. I also love putting it right onto steaks before searing.Now a staple in my kitchen.Also MSG does not cause headaches. I use to think it did because of panda express but i havent gotten a single headache from using this. Worse that has happened was accidentally using too much and feeling very jittery ( like the start of a panic attack heart pounding) scared me but i realized it was because i used eay too much (so use it sparingly)

MSG Wasn't the Villain... It Was the Missing Ingredient.
Here’s some probably unnecessary backstory, but stay with me. I saw a video breaking down the myth behind MSG, how it got vilified in the West, and how there’s no solid evidence showing it’s harmful in reasonable amounts. I'd eaten it plenty of times at restaurants without knowing, but this time I wanted to try it intentionally.And listen... it changed everything. I’ve used it in chili beans, jollof rice, chickpeas, even hummus. It doesn’t overpower the dish, it just enhances the flavor in a way that’s hard to explain until you taste it yourself. There’s a subtle richness it brings that’s almost addictive.This seasoning has officially earned a permanent spot in my kitchen. Shoutout to whoever first cleared up the misinformation, because I would've kept missing out on something this good.

It’s hard to find MSG near me, so this is perfect. Fits perfectly in a big mason jar and lasts a while even when using daily

It might merit five stars, but so far I've used it on only one dish, which I make every evening. It's a highly seasoned dish, so I have a hard time discerning how much of a difference the umami seasoning makes. I've had good results in the past with MSG in other dishes, and I like that this MSG is a natural product obtained by fermenting corn.

A must have for those who like to cook.
A food influencer/chef who moved to Bali uses this. So I wanted to try it. Very good. You can probably find it cheaper at your local Asian market too. I saw it at mine for $2.99.
