Q: how do you compare this jasmine tea to the Twinings jasmine tea

Sunflower brand jasmine tea is much, much higher quality tea than Twinings jasmine tea. I love Twinings black teas, but thier Asian teas such as green teas, oolong, jasmine, white tea, etc, all poor quality.

Q: What size are the leaves? Could I use a silicone tea infuser or should I stick with stainless steel mesh?

These aren't leaves. They are crumpled leaves and stems. It sort of looks like oregeno or perhaps if you stuck it in a zip lock bag it might look like some illegal. I'd stick with the mesh. Personally I use a tea-maker and put in a coffee filter.

This is a green tea it is not white. I have been using it for many years and I can assure you that it is green.

Q: Does this tea have caffeine?

All green teas have caffeine. However, it is a low amount. I would estimate that this tea has between 15-30mg of caffeine per 8oz. For comparison, Diet Coke has 40mg/8oz and coffee has 100mg/8oz.
