This is a really cool thing
The media could not be loaded. This is a really cool gift. My dad got me. I’m really happy about this. The smoke and light work really good if you don’t see smoke coming out that means that I have used up all the smoke, but the bottle is still full.

Terrific detail and an exact replacement for an old engine
This engine and tender were a replacement for a well used HO set. I was surprised I could purchase an exact duplicate engine. It runs smoothly and has the power to pull a sizable number of engines. Again, the set has great detail with both the tender and engine.

Buyers beware.
The Engine does not smoke as it is supposed to. After adding the smoke liquid to the engine it just leaks out all over the tracks and engine. It does not produce any smoke. And the tender that trails the engine constantly comes off the tracks, I don’t use it, what a waist of money. Grandson was very disappointed.

HO switch engine
great just what I was looking for

Not particularly powerful
Decent looking engine and worth what I paid for it. Unfortunately, it won't pull more than about 6 cars at a time, so it doesn't seem very powerful. Unlike my older similar looking engine, this one does not rely on the coal car to operate. My older engine required grounding through the coal car. Working headlight is nice. I have not tried the "smoke" function, as smoke fluid is rather expensive and wasn't sure if I could use mineral oil, as some people say.

Only engine
My Grandson found out that for $40 more he could have an entire HO train set… This single is going back…

No smokey
It runs very well It can’t pull heavy cars, so I put two lite passenger cars on it and it does fine. So the smoke issue is that you have to highball it up to 86 on your throttle to get it to smoke. That’s a little weird, but you can’t highball it all the time. So if you want smoke go fast, if not go slow. So it does what it’s supposed to do.

An obvious Fraud
When I bought the engine I figure I was getting a good deal. I got it to show my Grandchildren a model railroad When it arrived I found that the smoke function did not work. As they came over I used it 5 or 10 minutes at a time of about 30 minutes total. Now it's starting to stop on it's own and showing a short on my controller. Looking at it under magnification It appears to have been worked on in the past. Thus I believe that it's either the worst built engine or a USED one. Not the new one as advertised! No wonder I got a deal. A fraud either way. !!!
