Poundex Sectional Set, Black

We have small children and wanted some new furniture that would look nice and hold up to the wear and tear from the kids for an affordable price. Product was delivered on time, easy to assemble, and looks great. The legs are plastic so we do try to be careful with those and the couch isn't quite long enough to lay on without putting my feet up on the arm of it (I'm 5'7). We have had this set for about 3 1/2 months and it is comfy and has held up good so far. Hoping it continues to last us awhile.

Had trouble with fitting the backrests on the loveseat. Fabric is of cheap quality. Frame is kind of okay. Overall does not feel good about the product for the money. Packaging is awesome.I am updating this review after using it for few days - There is no zero(0) stars to give in the feedback, So I had to give 1 star. Its not even worth 1 star. Its the worst product I have ever bought from AMAZON. Most of the Stitching broken with very few days of usage. Not comfortable at all. With just few additional bucks, I would have got a decent leather recliner sofa.

All in all, this is a nice couch. Especially for such a cheap price. It’s comfy, it’s sturdy and it’s nice material. Only downside is the back is hard to slide onto the couch. I had to pry it on with a butter knife. Took an hour. But like I said, it’s sturdy! If you’re considering buying this couch, but weary of the price or the shipping cost, don’t hesitate bc I’m seriously glad I went for it. Keep in mind also that this is a smaller couch. The back isn’t very high. I’m 5’ 2” and if I’m sitting with my back straight against the back of the couch, it comes to just under my shoulders in height. So if you’re really tall, maybe consider a different couch.

The couch itself is absolutely wonderful; it was very easy to assemble and it feels and looks great. Unfortunately, the one I received had a manufacturing flaw. I was able to MacGyver a solution, and I received a 50% discount from Amazon as compensation. Based on other reviews I'd guess this isn't a widespread problem so I'd still recommend the couch to everyone.To be specific, my particular manufacturing flaw was an issue of distance between screw holes in the larger couch. To assemble the couch, you lay the large couch on its back with the bottom facing you. There are two screws you put through the couch from left to right, but the distance between these two holes is slightly different between the left and right couch pieces, making it impossible to put both screws in. You could drill a new hole, but my roommate and I put a piece of metal diagonally through the other piece for a little extra stability and secured the couch pieces with the middle leg supports. It works fine for us.

Had this set for just a little over a year and a half and I’m searching for new furniture. To be totally honest, It’s been treated roughly because I have a toddler and two dogs, one of which used the underside of the couch as a chew toy. If I remove the dogs from the equation, the couch is still broken, one side of the couch where you would sit is just completely on the floor, and a spring tore a hole in the cushion. The cushions are flat, and if you’re not careful and sit down too hard you’ll land on a hard piece of wood. I’ve never found this set comfortable, but it wasn’t terrible when I first got it. Would I buy again? No. I think my life is just too hectic for this to withstand. Even so, I don’t hate it. You get what you pay for. Take what you may from my review, if I had to give you any advice on it I’d say don’t put it in a high traffic home. It just won’t last. Maybe for a kids play room, or a room you’re not in very much. (if that’s a thing?) maybe someone who can treat it kinder will have better luck with it.

Purchased this set for my first apartment, I was looking for something affordable and in my budgets, glad I made the purchase. Had the set for 2 years and they holding up. Easy to Assemble, Woman friendly don’t need a man, like really it’s that easy. And it’s easy to take back off and store brakes down and can be put into a extra large packing box. Easy to clean, the back of the sofa had a flap you can lift up and clean inside. I gave them to my older sister after I got a new set and she been loving it ever since.

i.e. a college student or a single person starter apartment.I'll start with the few good things -~It's easy to assemble. My 10yo daughter and I (average sized woman) put it together with ease.~The smaller one is fine as it is not used as much.~It comes with four (4) decorative pillows (pictured).Now the bad -~Just looking at them, they look cheap.~One of the arms caved in when my husband had his arm on it as he sat and then tried to reposition himself and put a little weight on it, it just broke. Now there's a hole and you can not rest your arm comfortably.~After a month or so... the cushions that you sit on are attached now the middle of the bigger couch has this weird "dip" as the cushions are separating. No one can sit in the middle comfortably as there is no cushion. Because they are attached I cannot pull off to "refluff".~You can not cuddle with two people as it is not wide or long enough... Wish I would have looked more closely at the dimensions which brings me to my next point...~The backs are very low.

This product is very fragile. Inside of it is all made of cheap wood that is disintegrating. My sofa is months old now and since its second month there are lot of defects noticed(1) Inner piece pops out stretching the cloth out(2) Sounds of wood disintegrating inside(3) Recliners are aligning at different angle providing uncomfortable seatingIt is just a matter of time it will break completely.Request Amazon to refund as this is very poorly built item and not sustainable at all. This is contrary to what was posted in the web.
