I was skeptical when I first bought these. There is the classic mothball odor, along with a sweet lavender scent. I discovered that these smells disappear withing 10 to 15 minutes of the time you remove your garments from the chest or closet. There really is no lingering odor as the bag advertizes. It will not intetrfere with any cologne or perfume you may be wearing. The best part is that my clothes no longer get moth larvae holes in them! These last about 2 months in a closet, and about 3 months in an air-tight chest. They will probably be the last moth balls I buy. All of the rest of them are too odiferous, and there is no getting the odor out without dry cleaning. They do the job very well!

Lavender awesome & work for long period of time.

I buy these often to keep rodents from destroying my cars.

Though the small parquets still smell like mothballs, the lavender mitigates the smell somewhat, and they appear to be effective. Can be placed anywhere, including small corners.

The lavender scent is much better than the ordinary moth ball scent. Works well in closets, my preferred scent to do the job deterring insects that may sneak into closets.
