Good price, easy to install!
Installed on Mercedes 2010 ML350. Installation was straightforward except that since the main module has to be placed on the right side of the car, the left turn signal wire was short and I had to extend it. It would have been nice if the manufacturer had longer turn signal wires for both left and right to make it easier for users to place the module on either side of the car. Extending the cable was easy enough and the unit worked as intended. The shop wanted $150 to install it in addition of charging retail price for the unit; it takes less than one hour to install everything for a newbie!

Great kit for my 2011 Audi Q5
Worked great in my 2011 Audi Q5. Wire just hides inside under the cargo floor and then hangs out over the bumper when in use. Instructions must be found on the internet. I had it wired wrong at first where the trailer lights only worked when the back hatch was open, so I dug around and found a different way of doing it and it works now. Overall easy installation with everything included. - Oh, you should get the smaller snap splicers from an auto parts store for 20-22g because the Q5 has tiny wires. Remember that your lights must be on too when testing. :) Get it!

It's good
Works fine. Instructions make it seem harder to install than it really is. Well made. Just spendy for what it does.

Works great, high quality, right wire gauges, solid/sealed converter. Installation is NOT trivial
I installed this trailer converter kit on my 2011 retired police Crown Victoria. It works very well, though, installation took me almost 2 hours, in part because I didn't want to use the included splicing thingies that cut into the vehicle wiring, and also because the instructions to identify what type of wiring you have are not easy to follow, so I had to check and re-check until I was sure. The instructions sometimes refer to things like PS sor DS without explaining what those acronyms are, other times they actually say tail light, or brake, so it is confusing if it is the first time you do something like this. I would recommend that you get the version of this product that comes with the custom connectors if one is available for your make and model, the installation would be a breeze that way. I do recommend this Curt 59236 converter kit.

Quality parts, easy to follow instructions
Install went very smooth. Everything needed to do the install was included with the kit. Kit appears well made. Instructions were easy to understand. Installed on a 2007 Mercedes Benz e350 wagon.

Item was not working
Bought and paid for new product but got a used one. No instructions, wiring was cut very short and some were spliced together hidden under electrical tape. Turn and brake signals were not working. I returned the defective item.

Worked awesome on a 2024 Toyota Corolla hatchback
This is generic and involves a little more wire splicing but works fine.

Looks to be a good product. Just tested but not used yet. Hadn't see that it was a US type with no separation between blink and stop light. So had to buy another item to separate them to come to european norm.

2024/25 Hyundai santa fe. This trailer harness works flawlessly. More than enough wire to make easy connections and the power module is thin enough to hide behide the C pillar. *** Super important that you YouTube the U-Haul video on the wiring process, don't even try until you do and double check the the wiring you're tapping into because the left and right signal wires are both blue with an orange stripe and the brown wire with a black stripe is the running lights..... There are 4 brown wires with a black strip, be sure to test and pick the correct one. This harness is just over $100.00 but the factory plug in harness is just over $300. 00. Pick your comfort level for the install. Good luck

I'm no expert, but installing this trailer wiring kit was a piece of cake. The instructions were straightforward, and I had it up and running in no time. I've used it a few times now, and it works like a charm. A solid purchase for hassle-free trailer connections.

This is the right module to install on a 2015 Golf Sportwagen TSI. All trailer lights work as they should and there are no issues to report. This gets 4 stars because of the following minor details: 1. Green wire: I wish it was at least 6" longer so that I could properly rout and secure it to the chassis. The wire is covered; thus, it's not a major issue. 2. Black wire: I with is it was as long as the supplemental black wire they provide. I'm a person who believes in minimal number of connections (crimped or otherwise) 3. Black wire routing: all instructions and online videos show drilling of holes in the chassis and running the black wire under the car, into the engine, and connecting it into the battery. I'm not prepared to drill holes in my car, so I opted for internal routing and internal attachment to the under dash fuse box (worked like a charm, but you do need the flat fuse contact from VW). 4. Instructions: they are clear as long as you know what you're looking for and know how the car taillights work. Getting to understand how the tail lights work is the key to properly wiring the module.
