I bought one of these for both my kids. Both are really hard to wind back up. The string just goes round and round the centre. Disappointing for the price.

Unfortunately this was not a great success. I purchased this as a little suprise for my son as he recently showed an interest in yo-yos. Remembering the fun I used to have with mine I quickly looked for something exciting, a light up one you can do tricks with for under £10? Too good to be true.. Sadly this seems to be the case. The quality of the yo-yo itself seems ok from a material perspective but the string will not wind onto the spool correctly. It means that he has had to stop laying with it after each turn for me to delicately re-wind it, this has killed the fun somewhat which is a shame. It is very cheap but it has not really been good value due to the issues, I requested some assistance from the manufacturer and they did not respond to me emails which was frustrating. It may have just been my unit but given the reviews left by many other buyers, this seems unlikely.
