Let's put this review in pros and cons format. PROS: - Looks pretty cool. I got the charcoal color, and it look perfect in my black desk, next to my Lenovo Legion laptop. - Sound quality is amazing, listen to music with this thing is pretty satisfying. - Responsivness, which was my main concern, is absolutely amazing. Of course there are things that it doesn't get because it is not an independant AI, but must of the things I asked it to do, it has delivered. Even when I have music it hears me well. Obviously I do need to speak louder, but I don't have to yell tobe listened by the device. - Clicky buttons. That's up to personal taste. I prefer them mushy, but I don't mind clicky ones. - Boxing looks premium. CONS: - The part that is plastic and not mesh (the back part) looks a little too cheap for the money you pay. - There are some basic instructions that should be supported, but they are not, like asking Alexa to add a song you're listening to your favorites on spotify. It says that "recommend" is not available. I had it for two days and I tried three times to do this because I don't always listen to my playlist or favorites, so it is something very common that should be supported. - sync with some other devices could be a little messy. It took me a long time to get it to work with my bedside lamp 2 (xiaomi). I hope it's not the same with other products. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. If you want a smart house or a room at least, this is the way to go. I even want to buy an echo show now, but they're sold out.

This product exceeded my wildest expectation; the sound quality is amazing. However, I had it shipped to South Korea, where a couple of days delayed the package because Hangeul cannot be the delivery address. Other than waiting a while, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Me costó decidir cambiar a Alexa, tenía mis dudas respecto a esta versión internacional, pensé que estaría muy limitada. Pero ha sido una buena decisión. El audio de Echo es bastante bueno, tiene controles de agudos, medios y bajos (a través de la app Alexa). El conector de audio auxiliar se programa para entrada o salida, así es posible de usarlo como un parlante con entrada de audio con cable. La fuente de poder multi-voltaje es estándar chileno (tipo L). Spotify y TuneIn se agregaron muy fácil (requiere habilitar y configurar skill). También funciona bien la integración con productos de domótica como Sonoff para encender/apagar lámparas e interruptores. Pero aunque puede leer la temperatura y humedad desde esos dispositivos, no es posible aún asociar ese evento a una rutina, para que encienda un ventilador si la temperatura del sensor Sonoff TH16 supera los 30°C, por ejemplo. Sin embargo, no es muy difícil crear rutinas para que se activen con la voz, pero algunas veces se confunde. Lee las noticias de Bío-Bío y Cooperativa, y reproduce los resúmenes de noticias de C13 y otros. Muchos skills y opciones aún no están disponibles, algunos debido a que no son soportados por terceros para Chile (Roku, por ejemplo). Por bluethoth permite conectar parlantes, teléfonos celulares y PCs. Hay que administrarlos desde la app. No funciona como dispositivo cast, para lanzar streaming de Spotify como Chromecast u otros, pero puedes asociar a otros usuarios (deben tener cuentas de Amazon) para que otro lance sus temas. Se puede utilizar como hub de Zigbee, pero aún no he probado esa función. Espero más adelante integrar algunos dispositivos por ese medio. Un accesorio que puede ser de mucha utilidad es la base de batería, con la que se gana 100% en portabilidad y evita interrupciones si quieres mover el Echo a otro lugar de tu casa. Totalmente recomendable.

Gran sonido, compré 2 para tener stereo, que se configura a través de la app de alexa, y me gusta mucho como suena, siendo que soy bastante exigente y tengo muy buenos equipos de música. Obviamente el volumen final no es alto, pero si lo suficiente para disfrutar de buenos rangos, desde agudos a bajos con la comodidad de que tenga alexa. Para fiestas tengo un equipo BOSE.

TRÈS CLAIRE. elle reconnais pratiquement directement les lampes et prise, elle sait répondre à beaucoup de question et on peux programmer des skills pour faire étudier les enfants lorsque l'on fait à manger. Question et réponse. Elle rechercher des informations quotidienne ou historique, biensur jour là musique que l'on demande, elle peux nous faire des rappel, lire les notifications, en Belgique je n'ai pas trouver comment introduire mon numéro de tel parce que dans la liste il n'y a pas '' Belgique 0032'' alors je comprend pas trop le fait d'acheter plus cher l' écho dote alors que c'est le même qu'en France. Voilà pour le petit coup de gueule je trouve que c'est un peu de l'injustice que de dire que c'est version international soit-disant mais qu'en soit elle fait identique qu'en France. 🙄 Mais en France eux ils peuvent mettre le numéro de tel pour passer des appels. Voilà voilà

This is my first Alexa anything. And I really love it. I wanted a speaker in my home office so I wouldn't have to always use my laptop headset. I play Spotify a lot. I saw that the speaker for the echo dot was pretty decent and cost far less than others I was looking into. It sounds great! I also wanted a weather station clock, so that when I get up in the morning to prepare my child for school, I could know the weather immediately. Alexa has really killed two birds with one stone. This is a multi-purpose device and for a family with young children (especially if your child likes to ask a lot of questions) this is great. The speaker has a wonderful equalizer. Now the best part is the Alexa AI. I'm just having fun with it and so is my family. I live in the Netherlands. My family speaks Dutch and English. This device only works in English, but if that doesn't bother you, you will likely like this device. I feel like I got more than what I paid for in quality. I bought two of these at once. I am loving this!!! I also got more than what I thought I was getting and the Alexa app is great and has so much information it's overwhelming, but very easy to use.

It is very useful in large rooms, it can hear you from afar. Perfect sound, very good response. Good integration in a smart home. Great smart speaker for the price as long as you live in an Alexa world ...

I have had it for a couple pf years now and I love it! It works so good and the sound is good!!
