This book series is guaranteed to put a smile on the face of any baby or toddler. The big, bold illustrations are really engaging for little readers and the easy to manoeuvre sliders and pull tabs mean they can take the lead in playing peekaboo. The dialogue is very simple and consistent, each page is a variation on the theme of ‘Peekaboo ducky’, ‘Peekaboo birdies’, ‘Peekaboo flower’, to help build early language skills, and each page has a sliding pop-up, pull-out picture or turning wheel to develop fine motor control. This book series is ideal from birth but, with my children, they seemed to be the most captivated at 1-2 years old.
