Lightweight and perfect!

Used it for a year, worked perfect! Replaced the strap with an amsteel daisy chain, bites a lot harder!

I really like the platform. It literally only weighs 3 1/2 pounds.Other platforms will advertise that they weigh a certain amount and then they come and then they actually weigh moreSo in my picture, the little plastic washers that they send with this platform allow the upright to wiggle so I drilled a bigger hole and put a 3/8 bolt in it and the two washers are pretty big and I actually had to kind of pound them in to make it really tight and all of them have grease on them and what it did was it made the platform where it will not wiggle on the back riserThe platform does not squeak one bit anymoreI also the part the strap hooks too. I drilled a hole an inch and a half lower and that’s where I put it. It works better to get the strap tighter and then the top part doesn’t tilt out.Also, I replaced the strap that they send with a different strap. There’s just a little bit heavier duty.Overall, it’s a great platform just a few things that I did to it to improve it so it does not squeak anymore and upgraded the strap and the post location for the strap

I love this platform!! It's pretty light weight and very sturdy i would recommend it for anyone getting into saddle hunting.

I picked up this platform around the middle of 2024 to use with my saddle setup. Ended up replacing the strap with a Tetherd strap, and changing out the tree teeth bracket with a Tetherd Predator bracket (This bracket had a lot of side to side play in it when I initially put it on the platform. I simply used a small allen wrench to wedge down inbetween the bracket beam and the predator bracket. This reduced the side to side play a ton). I also added grip tape along the top of the platform for slip resistance. My experience has been pretty solid so far.I think some of the reviews are simply misjudged based on user error. Some talk about how it doesn't cinch down to the tree. The mistake is not setting the platform correctly. When you get the platform initially on the tree, you should then stand up on the top with one foot while wrapping your arms around the tree, lift the platform upward towards you with your other foot, then push the platform back down. This helps to really cinch the platform up against the tree. I was able to get it locked very firmly even before changing out the bracket and strap.All in all, not a bad deal. With a few modifications and trial/error... I think it has it's place in consideration if you are getting into saddle hunting or simply want a less expensive alternative.

The jaws piece that is supposed to bite into the tree curves outwards instead of in. This is significant design flaw and results in an unstable platform that shifts while shooting around the tree. Unsafe, terrifying to use and the strap stinks. I wanted to like this but it really stinks. Look elsewhere.

This platform is awesome for saddle hunting! It’s very lightweight and easy to attach to a tree. Love the fact that the tilt on the platform is adjustable. Great for the price

This platform has a horrible design flaw that allows the platform to kick out when side loaded. The teeth don't bite into the tree well, and the second you apply pressure to the side the whole platform kicks out. Alot of people modify this platform by replacing the upper standoff with a tethrd one or similar brand. For me I will be returning it and buying a product that I can trust. Having the platform shift on you is very unsettling 20 feet up in the air. Not to mention the noise would spook any deer you were trying to maneuver into a shot on. This could be a great budget platform but the obvious design flaws creating safety issues is a hard pass for me.
