Excellent for preventing body pains while in bed
There's no other product quite as effective as this one. I've used one for years and have slept much better. I used to get shoulder bursitis which has never happened with this mattress topper. Occasionally you'll need to add a little air using the included pump. It shouldn't have a major leak for years unless the kids jump on it or something similar. Like any inflatable device it may eventually no longer hold air, but single sections are available so you probably won't need to replace the whole 3-section unit. Or buy 2 of these and keep 1 in reserve.

Good for bed sores.
Great for my friends daughter not great for my 100 year old mom. Better for bed sores but not if persons has pain on back.

Great at first but crappy and unusable 1 year later!
UPDATE December 28, 2018 The air chambers have stretched on this pad and adjusting the air pressure no longer gives me pain relief. The air chambers go flat frequently. All the snapped elastic fasteners broke within months! I am so disappointed! $200 is a fortune on my small disability check!I bought this hospital bed overlay for pain management. For the first time in a very long time I can sleep without waking up every time I roll over! I have bursitis chronically in my hips and shoulders and I have excruciating pain when I lay on them. Then if I lay on my back, I have excruciating pain in my tailbone from a botched surgery. Now I am sleeping so much more comfortably!! Frankly, I am shocked!! This morning I had ZERO hip and tailbone pain! I am hoping it won't be much longer and the shoulder pain will calm down.

we take a section off and place it in his reclining chair everyday to keep him comfortable. IT WORKS
We purchased this for my dad who has a pressure sore on his bottom. He sleeps peacefully at night and because the mattress comes in 3 sections, we take a section off and place it in his reclining chair everyday to keep him comfortable. IT WORKS!!!

It was very easy to set up.
My husband is on hospice and they sent out an alternating air mattress. I could never find a good setting for my husband and when I would go to turn him he could grimace in pain. He couldn't tell me exactly where he was hurting but it seemed to be the hip that was down on the mattress when he was on his side. The pockets reminded me of tennis balls.My SIL recommended the roho. I really like the large pockets. I'm getting the hang of how soft to make it for him but so far I've been very pleased.
