Q: I want to remove the candle and put s keepsake urn in it. The urn is about 2.5-3 inches. Will it fit without coming up too high on the angel?

It will be to high but buy it anyway it's such a beautiful Angel

Q: Can I detach the candle or votive from the angel or are both pieces glued on?

The glass holder and the led candle are totally separate pieces from the Angel statue, and you can choose if you would like to use them or not.
