Great to keep a few at hand if you have to service various Condenser units.
The capcitor is essential to keep your compressor motor and fan motor running happily. A capacitor failure often leads to a very expensive motor swap or repair. And a sub-par capacitor means you not only waste electricity, but put undue stress on motors that vibrate and do not run smooth. Now the AMRAD brand not only makes their capacitors right here in America, but also has invested into unique technology to improve the reliability and compatibility with "start" capacitors, see their Amrad TES5 Easy-Start. Unique is that the 2 AMRAD capacitors monitor each other. I just had the case where a cheap run capacitor has failed, but the start ("hard start") has not, leading to extreme short cycling of the compressor that is NOT prevented by the various anti-short cycle gadgets. So spend a few dollars more to not just potentially, but certainly save thousands in repair cost and save electricity too. Oh, and when you change out your "factory" setup for the AMRAD run & start capacitors, the wiring becomes a LOT cleaner and less messy.

EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:No supply company within 50 miles of me had this capacitor! Ordered this one and it was an EXACT MATCH to my old one! The bonus was that it arrived in 36 hrs!! I had to drive almost 100 miles over 7 years ago to replace this item and it cost $128 then!

Worked like a charm. No issues.
Not much to say, this replaced a very similar Turbo 200 (model 9200 w/o CPT). I gave 4-stars because the picture advertised shows a 9200 without the CPT terminal, but I received one WITH the CPT terminal. I paid more for the 9200 (over another listing) because it was a perfect match to what was in my HVAC.Bottom line, the model with CPT is the same capacitor but adds this additional safety feature should you add a hard start kit to your compressor at some point. If you don't need the CPT, just don't connect anything to it.That said, it fired right up with no issues.
