Looks great and keep my tea hot for 12 hours or so. But little disappointed on 2 points. The handle gets quite warm. It means it's not well isolated. And I'm not crazy about the lid. Yes, easy to pour but wish there was a way to close securely.

This carafe is also a tremendously amazingly well insulated personal carafe! II bought and kept this one as well as the larger international products 2 L carafe.This smaller capacity carafe also is amazingly well insulated - keeping water fresh and ice in the water for two days!! I love it !!I happened to prefer a larger capacity so I'll use this one for my guests at their bedside table - I am an icewater lover - so I haven't used it for hot beverages -but how could it work any less wonderfully for hot beverages? the insulation is beyond what I ever could've believed!I highly recommend this as a personal use, for guests at their bedside, for travel- it's looks good !it insulates beautifully it's easy to clean it's a quite perfect product worth every penny- I would even recommend it for travel, since empty it is lightweight, and if you have the luggage space; and obviously this Insulated carafe would also be a great gift!!

Coffee only stayed warm about an hour-pretty pot, but not functional

Even though the description clearly says that these are dishwasher safe, the pamphlet says NOT dishwasher safe. They seem nice enough, but dishwasher safe was our main concern.

I just recieved this carafe last week and have already used it several times. Like all thermal carafes, the best result is obtained by warming it with hot water first, then it will keep hot for many hours. (Just last night I left a little herbal tea in it when I went to bed and this morning it was still warm.) The outside and bottom of the carafe meanwhile stay quite cool, you can set it on any table without a trivet or placemat needed to protect the wood. I think it looks sleek and attractive on the table and compliments almost any style. One reviewer noted the top and handle were plastic not metal and felt that took away from the high-end appearance; personally, I don't think it looks obviously plastic, and additionally the top and handle are the only parts that get warm when hot liquid is inside it, I imagine if they were metal the handle might be too hot to comfortably hold so I feel it's a fair trade-off. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

Keeps tea hot for good 4 hours. I wish it had an infuser for easy removal of tea leaves. Mouth is too small for inside cleaning of the carafe.

I bought this as a gift for my mother. She has a Keurig (Original) and likes to make several cups of coffee at a time. She uses this as a larger carafe. It keeps the coffee hot for hours. So when she is doing things around the house on Saturdays and wants to top off her coffee she does it with ease. Things she used in the past was an old tea pot and oddly enough a Pyrex measuring cup. She loves the replacement. It looks sleek, well made and of high quality

Worst product. It leaks and the neck. Hard to believe that this pot was designed and produced for beverages. Caution when using. Burns from leaking hot fluids. Do not buy this model for fluids.
