Clean all the things
Works great for for any project. Cleaned gunk off carbs easily. Only 2 downsides. It very loud, and 2 for me should have went for the size larger.

Right Size, Right Price
I purchased this to clean bicycle chains 2-3 times a month. I was interested in a relatively small volume cleaner with an internal heater. I've only used it a couple of times so longevity is still to be determined, but it has done a great job. The integral heating element was able to achieve 170F from 120F in few minutes and the ultrasonic vibrations cleaned the chain thoroughly. If it turns out to be reliable, I'll probably purchase a second one to dedicate to waxing my chains.

Pretty great, but I wish I had gone bigger.
Get at least one size bigger than what you think you will need. I bought a 6 liter machine for cleaning bike parts, but it is not big enough. When I clean mountain bike cassettes with very large gears, only a bout 3/4ths of it will be submerged. I'm also pretty sure 6 liters would overflow the tank. For actual use, you can put about 4 liters of liquid in it and still have room for a few parts. If you are cleaning small items, I recommend filling the tank with straight water and putting your part in a sealed glass jar with degreaser. It works really well, my only complaint is the drain hose. The plastic barb leaks and the flimsy hose kinks. I will replace it with a brass barb and a short piece of automotive heater hose. The buzzing noise is not nearly as annoying as I thought it would be, I am capable of tuning it out.

Works just fine.
So far so good. Works like it should. Be sure you read up on flash rust, and what products you can use with which materials. I used pine sol for some small carbs, and degreaser to clean all of my sockets and wrenches.Like many people have said, it takes forever to heat up, so I just start with hot tap water and it's fine.

Time saving
This is a great product and purchsed one month ago. It has saved me hours in cleaning control knobs for ophthalmic equipment. I recondition medical instruments and have been very pleased with the outcome leaving a clean surface that is so important for general health and spread of bacteria for the operators working with them. The heating element is a nice feature, however, use caution. I've found it's helpful for stainless steel, however aluminum parts are sensitive to heat over extended periods. I typically don't use the heat feature after experimenting. It's a nice feature that is scalable/adustable if I do choose to use it. What took about 45 minutes of detailing, now takes 10. Very happy with the product.

Does a great job
Ultrasonic cleaning isn't magic, but it takes some common sense. It is easy if you're not in a hurry. This cleaner is nice, has a good temp control and easy to use interface. I bought the 10L one because it had a large enough basket to fit a carb, pistons, or VW oil cooler. I also got little baskets for the small carb parts. It take time and temp to make stuff clean. If you have a super gummed up part, figure on a couple hours of cleaning. The negative is that the longest time you can set is 30 minutes...no reason they couldn't allow it to go for a couple hours unless it's a duty cycle thing. So expect to hit go a few times until you're happy with the cleanliness.Changing the cleaning fluid / degreaser is easy enough. I've been using some generic cleaner from amazon...I'm pretty sure it's a rip off of Simple Green (but was cheaper). It comes with a drain valve and a somewhat crappy (but functional) nozzle/hose. That's ok by me...it functions and I don't need brass fittings to drain out the used fluid/degreaser. Expect really dirty stuff to make your degreaser really dirty.I've found that most things get clean within 2 hours at 40C, including the really gummed up and nasty carb which was the reason I bought this (turned out like new I might add). A few parts have taken longer, namely the oil cooler I should have bothered pre-cleaning prior to tossing it in (live and learn...needed to change the degreaser/detergent after it). I've not tried it with actual solvent (like carb cleaner) because I've found hot degreaser to be sufficient. Biggest thing now is to have a nearby system to flush the degreaser out of your newly clean part. And yes, it's loud, expect that, probably not the tool you want to put it in your bedroom or someplace you want peace and quiet. I can't believe the reviews complaining that the ULTRASONIC cleaner is loud...what did you expect? Luckily it's small enough you can simply put it outside and let it run if you so choose.

Heater not working right out of the box.
Works as advertised. The feet for the basket included was welded wrong, one side barely hanging on so the basket won't stand straight. Heater, ultrasonic, timer work fine. Wish the temperature had option for displaying in fahrenheit and not just Celsius.

Dead on the 34th day of owning it.
4 days after the 30 day return period, it no longer heats up or vibrates. The light on the power switch on the back lights up, but the front does not turn on. The LEDS on the front will blink on and off when you hit the power switch in the front, but after that the front temperature and time remain blank.UPDATE:I emailed them on April 15, 2025 the day that the device failed.Received a reply within 24 hours, they asked that I take apart the device and send a picture of the "driver board" the same day. They reply that they would be sending a replacement driver board. Fortunately I it is an easy process with unscrewing a few screws and swapping plugs.New board arrives on arrives on April 25, 2025.I swap out the board and to my dismay the device is still broken. They have escalated it to their Senior Technical Personnel and I am now waiting on a resolution.Update #2They sent a replacement and I just received it this past weekend. Looking at the insides of the device, this one has different internal components than the one I originally received.
