Exact fit and function. Runs quiet and blows strong through the vents. Exceptional value for the price. Installation was a piece of cake. Electrical connectors are exactly the same as old motor. Just plug and play. It's getting the old motor shaft out that is hard when rusty. Perfect replacement fan blower motor for the Genteq HW19. AC unit is a Comfort Maker 1 ton.

Two HVAC companies quoted me $1,250 and $2,000 respectively to replace my 9 year old blower motor in my Carrier air handler. Ordered this motor based on the exterior label of my unit and online research. Motor arrived in 2 days, was easy to install, looked nearly identical to the OEM, was a direct plug and play, worked exactly like the OEM, and was a huge value. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting a “Fan blade/blower motor puller tool” when you order the motor. Mine was ceased on with rust and would not budge until I used the tool. Simple job and lots of great tutorials on YouTube! Saved around $850 based on the cheaper quote! Took me 1.5 hours. DO IT YOURSELF AND SAVE $$$$!

Great motor for my 5 year old Carrier system – exact replacement – works great. Like others, I checked with my local AC service contractor who installed system when I built my house. In the past they have been quick and had reasonable prices. No more !! This blower motor has the controller board built in which makes it a little more expensive. They quoted me $800 for motor and another $600 to do the service !! I’m all for giving local business my work but only if they are reasonable. They are getting like the car dealers – they want to sell you a maintenance contract or gouge you on repairs – NO THANKS !! Like others I have the background and experience so I did this myself. Gave me a chance to really inspect and clean out my AC system. So far AC is great and super clean to boot. Taking the blower assembly and motor assembly out and putting everything back in took about 60 minutes. The hardest part was getting the old rusted motor shaft off of the blower wheel. I let it soak with WD-40 for a little while then used a hammer and punch. Take plenty of pictures before you take everything apart so you will have those to reference with the new unit. Like others have noted - the Amazon Seller, North American HVAC has replied to a consumer question that there IS NO WARRANTY. Their logic appears to be that (my words here) "Hey, you're getting it for less than the rip-off your HVAC service co would charge. Now you want a warranty?". The terms and conditions on the manufacturer's web site do indicate that the warranty is 12 months from installation or 18 months from manufacture, whichever comes first. I guess if this unit fails I can try the factory for a replacement. Not sure why the Amazon seller does not see it that way.

Wow! Easy install and saved me over $1k from what I was quoted from our HVAC company. Three bolts and a plug and the HVAC company wanted $1500 hundred to replace. Couldn't be happier - It's only been a couple of weeks but very happy so far.
