They will do the job!
I use these floral foam cylinders to make Christmas table centres with my elderly people's group. These ones I just received are a bit battered but I guess it doesn't really matter because you won't see them once all the greenery and stuff are covering them but they are quite pricey so I would like to think they would arrive in better condition.
