Great purchase, very comfy

Comfy
Bought these a few times. I personally find the comfy. They last when worn often, on a daily basis, somewhere in the region of six months.

Light, comfy and fit well.
Having large feet it is sometimes hit and miss as to whether they fit. These fit great. Family says they are not stylish but I don’t care, they are really comfy and don’t have any hard leather lacing points on top to break in (or as the last pair of hi-techs did to bruise the feet). Very happy with them. Comfy, slip on, light. Went away at the weekend and did a lot of walking in around a city over the 3 days, feet were good. Excellent.

Skechers Slip-on ?
Skechers slip ons, not to confused with slip-ins are very good fit but you need to use a shoe horn or you finger to slip you foot in

Disappointing
I like Sketchers products; they're one of my defaults and to date, I've not had a bad pair. This one is though, sadly. I suspect I've been unlucky -these things do happen. Nicely styled, nicely made, with quality materials, and excellent stitching. No complaints at all there, and typical for the brand. While they are not the cheapest, they are not excessively priced & value is high. Comfort of this particular offering is, or was, acceptable, although I have to admit it was not especially stellar by the usual Sketchers standards, which in my experience is typically very high. Fit is snug, bordering on tight, but the soles were relatively unyielding, and even in normal walking transferred a relatively high amount of impact up into the foot, in comparison to equivalents I have previously bought from the company (I am not comparing to the more highly spung types). Not catastropic by any stretch of the imagination, just not quite as good as some others. I could have lived with it, without major concern. Unfortunately, this is also where things went completely pear-shaped. About three weeks of only modest use in, something has gone awry internally with the sole of the right shoe, directly under the ball of the foot, and stretching laterally across the full width. Nothing is obvious externally, nor inside: no rucked lining, no apparent fracture. However, after only a few minutes wear and walking, I am in considerable pain, which takes the best part of a day to subside. I've confirmed it is this shoe that is responsible by wearing others -no such problem. Just with these. So something may have gone amiss within the sole material iself -possibly a lateral internal crack or equivalent. I have known this happen once before (different brand) and the effect is almost identical. In any event, I am left with a pair of unwearable, almost new £50 sneakers which cannot reasonably be returned given the small passage of time and lack of any obvious external problem. And in my current financial position, £50 is a lot of money that I can ill-afford to waste. I don't blame Sketchers, since I accept these things happen, and I will continue to happily buy their products. However, I cannot reasonably recommend this particular type, as I have no idea if others have experienced a similar issue. In all likelihood I was just unlucky, but without knowing, I would give this particular one a miss and consider something else from the Sketchers rangre.
