Not Rough, Linen Like Texture but Great Quality!
The curtains are a quality product but the images do not look like the actual product. The material has a shine to it and the images make them look more like a rough linen like texture. The color is dark chocolate which is what I wanted I thought. I think I will go for a lighter color instead just for personal preference. If you don’t mind the light sheen fabric I would recommend. Fabric is the same front & back which is nice as well. And love the rust color grommets!Personally, I am wanting a Burlap, Faux Linen texture.

My New Go-To for Quality Luxury Curtains
I have historically purchased my curtains from IKEA because of the variety and quality of their curtains. I just purchased this brand, H.Versailtex Room Darkening Curtains, in Stone Blue ($24) and Pale Oak ($35) for the 52”x84”. They are gorgeous. The fabric is good quality and well made. The blue wasn’t right for my home, but there are so many colors, I’m ordering the 52”x96” for all my living room windows. These are excellent for quality, material, room darkening, high-end design and price.

A steal for this price
Incredible for the price. The color is accurate and vibrant enough (I got the lighter blue) but majorly black out for when you need the windows shut. The length is perfect and it fits our 3 panel window so well! And the logistics on putting the curtain on a rod was easy as pie. It’s not heavy at all.

Not bad!
The curtains are overall decent—light-blocking performance is pretty good, and they do the job. However, the fabric has some wrinkles and doesn’t look particularly high-end. There’s also a slight color difference compared to the photos. That said, for the price, they offer good value. Hope this helps others!

perfect sun blocker
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have a room with three windows which catches the afternoon sun. Even with central ac and fans it became too hot. After reading the reviews i bought these curtains and what a difference. Not just the room but the entire house is several degrees cooler and the ac isn't working as hard. Should pay for itself by the end of summer/

Muy buena calidad !
Súper efectivas! De verdad bloquean la luz, y eso que mi cuarto da al este. Se sienten gruesas y elegantes. Fáciles de instalar. Lo único que hice fue plancharlas un poco cuando las saqué del empaque.

Well pleased with product
I'm so happy I ordered these. The drapes were very rich looking, and added a very nice touch to my living room.I would recommend. The light does come through a little bit. But they are just what I wanted.

Nicer than my brand name curtains
I bought a pair of these when they on sale for cyber day #2. Everything about them are 9.5 outta 10 fantastic. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong length. (why measure a window when you can confidently remember the length from when you measured it over a year ago).I got such a great deal that I hung them anyway, with the intention of ordering another pair in the correct size. A few months later I decided to get the correct size and go to a darker shade of blue. I came back to this page to reorder the longer curtains, and of course there were “suggestions”. One of the suggestions was from a more expensive brand name that I bought my shower curtain from (which I adore, so I won’t name names here) on a 50 % off flash deal!!! (but still considerably more at 1/2 off than these Versailtex are at regular price).Omg!?!?! how could I not splurge on the “fancy” trendy name brand curtains. What a mistake. The fancy curtains, which admittedly are much less wrinkled out it’s fancier packaging than these Versailtex were ( the only reason I deducted the .5 and made them 9.5, because my lazy self had to break out the iron— oh the travesty that is my life) , are so cheap looking, poorly made, poorer quality material, not true to color, and not nearly as and light blocking as these. To top it off, they are so snug to the rod, they do not pleat correctly or slide open easily, even though the grommet hole is supposedly the the same size as these. Which reminds me… did I mention how cheap the metal around the grommet hole looks? Ugh… they are so awful. After looking at them in disgust for a week, hoping I would grow to like them, I decided to send them back. Unfortunately my dumb self (as you can ascertain from this story) threw away the packaging. I came back to Amazon to email the seller to see if I could return without the packaging, and low and behold, the curtain set is now 1/4 of the original price … on close out. The fancy company knew these curtains were hot garbage, and I was bamboozled by then and mislead by my sense of mislead rationality… “Oh Jaime, you will spend a bit more, but you’ll have fancy brand name curtains, if these Versailtex’s are so wonderful, imagine how luxurious the fancy curtains will be… and you should definitely go with a darker color blue, it’ll look so mysterious and accent the blue in the artwork better”Moral of the story, I would 100% reorder these….…..and the darker blue does not accent the wall art better. I am cuckoo for thinking they would, and in full disclosure, the lighter blue complimented the art and gave my bedroom a friendlier, non-cheap, French Coastal vibe.P.S. … brand name doesn’t mean shitake if you’ve already found a well made reasonably priced product that you like. Don’t be like me, be prudent and wise.P.S.S…. I ordered the last set of the clearance fancy curtains, in hopes that it would look better.P.S.S.S… it does not. If you’ve ever wondered what the expression “don’t throw good money after bad” meant, I hope my story explains it to you.Dearest Versailtex,If you read this traumatic tale of woe and not only take pity on me, but also understand the mental toll it takes on a person to buy and install (now) 3 sets of curtains, of which 2 pair’s sole purpose on this planet is to mock you daily by being a constant reminder of your subpar decision making skills (including, but not limited to interior design and financial) please send me a set the original blue curtains I ordered, but in 96 inch length ( or longer if you have them) and will return the unpackaged 85 inch curtains that are neatly folded and stored in my closet. I know I’ve had them beyond the exchange window but they were barely used. Please take pity :)
