About time \i bought some limit switches to stop that awful crunching sound when it trys to overun.

It's a bit of a cheek knocking a star off because these didn't fit directly onto my machine since it's not a Gemritsu, but that's life. I had to 3D print some simple brackets to fit these, and cut the three way sockets off one end of the cables and fit two ways instead. On a good note, the six cables supplied were so long each one made two of the cables I needed, so I have three spare. Once fitted the machine does a 'zeroing' operation on command, so if the machine hangs part way through a job it can easily be restarted with the same reference position. Only snag is it sets the Z origin at the bottom of the travel - this is logical, but since it does Z first means it will smash the tool into the bed unless you manually jog the X and Y so the tool is off the bed before starting a Zero or Home operation. I found a work around was to perform a Zero, then jog the tool up 30mm and close the software, once reopened the Home position is set 30mm above the bed. A minor faff but it works.

Got these for my cnc machine they are good quality and easy to install

Bought these for a Misco 3018 Pro CNC (Amazon) and thought they will fit but the mounting holes are aligned with the switch side and not the connector. The holes to accept the pins are not aligned so you can't fit them. I will keep them for another project and will make my own custom ones.

after fitting and using I found that three of them had the levers come off. I then had to use the microswitches only without the levers.

I liked the orientation of the switch contact lever as it matched the ones that came on my 1310 cnc router. They are decent quality and are working fine on my machine as replacements.

Handy little micro switches and cables. The cables have 3 wires (red, white and black) that should give you a choice of normally open or normally closed contacts. But after testing them, I found only the black and white are used and the red is not thus giving you a normally open contact. The little circuit boards holding the switch are mounted with machine screws of 4mm or 4-40 thread. You might only use 3 switches (1 per axis) and the other switch configured is software. The cables have connectors on both ends. One end fits the switch but the other connector will not mate to the controller board pins. You must modify that connector. Kinda dumb on SainSmarts end.

Utilisés pour remplacer un fdc défectueux, ceux-ci fonctionnent correctement. Néanmoins, faire attention à la typologie du capteur car ils sont branchés normalement fermés. Led bleue allumée lorsqu'il est enclenché. Livré avec câbles de liaison. Bon produit.
