Excellent tube amp for the price !!
I got the first amp and played it for about 15 mins and heard a pop and a bunch of static . Sent it back and got a new one , hooked it up and its working great so far but have only played it for about 30 mins so far due to a family death. I had a boss katana 50 and this amp sounds quite a bit better . Ive never had a tube amp but the first thing i noticed was it plays much cleaner and i really dont need my distortion pedal but i can feel the air coming from the speaker and when i turned it up i could actually feel the sound waves going through my chest which i never expected and it is pretty cool . The digital amp doesnt do this . I bought this amp solely based on the review by Darrell Braun guitar on youtube and i am very happy with it so far as long as another tube doesnt blow . I was going to wait until later in the year or next yeat until ive been hearing how there are only 3 main tube manufacturers in the world and the one in China burned down , the one in Russia is banned from exporting products and that only leaves one in Slovakia making tubes so i assumed they are going to get real pricey and hard to find . The review showed this amp comes with JJ tubes which are premium tubes. I was thinking about getting the Bugera v55 but the only reason i didnt was they put cheaper tubes in it . I figured i would buy a cheaper amp in case the tubes go the way of the 8 track in which case i will go back to the Boss Katana . So far i am very happy with it for the sound and quality . Monoprice has a 1 year free replacement if it fails again but im hoping to have it for a long time .

Tube Crackle & Pops - 2nd ONE!
First "warm-up" of tubes - no issues. Second time and then consistently thereafter it continued. I loved the sound ( I am using clean channel exclusively running my pedal board through it) - powerhouse and crisp clear sound once warmed up and active. I just could not bring myself to keep a "new" combo amp with having to deal with inherited problems in the near future.UPDATE: 2nd one doing same thing - both ORDERS were shipped with NO regard for product care. 1st one delivered upside down and box was mangled, 2nd one box was destroyed and re-taped to keep it together. I personally pulled it off the UPS truck so it would not be tossed around or whatever. I contacted MONOPRICE - waiting for reply. The AMP sounds great when warm, I really do like it. Would like to receive one that works 100% out of the box.UPDATE: I did NOT plug in a guitar nor effects . . . for 1 week I have just turned on the amp several times per day to "test" the warm-up. The cracking and popping continued the entire week. As stated with my first purchase, I do not like the idea of purchasing a new product with the idea of a repair in the back of mind, even if a minor fix. If I could get one that does not have this repeated issue, I would still recommend it because it does sound great and it "hands down" is a great deal for a tube amp. The second delivery was scary, I opened the box and pulled amp before UPS drove away (UPS driver actually asked if I wanted to keep it, haha!) - the box was that bad. No damage was done to the exterior of the amp proper. The amps are packed with 4 closed cell corner blocks / top and bottom. Monoprice needs to work on their packing material as I have a feeling they are getting some serious returns?I contacted Monoprice and they responded quickly. They were excellent in their communication, yet they did not have a remedy other than to return it and buy another one (3rd one). I WILL give it one more shot. If the next one does the same thing or has any issues I will move on to another option for a tube amp. I was hoping MP would tell me to return it and they would then contact me for another purchase directly.

Great quality from top to bottom!
Simply put, this is a great amp! Construction is on par with much more expensive amps. Sound quality is superb. It has high-end tubes instead of some unbranded ones that you would need to immediately upgrade. If you want an amp that has great clean and dirty tones and usable features at an incredible price, then this is it!

update-
nice, loud, clean, spring reverb, has a cooling fan built in! delivered with no issues, time will tell on longevity.cant beat the value!update-9/23have had this amp since April, only turned on 3 times in my studio, 3rd time noticed was a tad muddy, never gigged with it or ran it hard. turned on today, hardly any volume on both channels, verified cord integrity, straight into amp, tried both channels, same issue. has been covered in my climate-controlled studio since purchase, now I have a 47lb paperweight. intensely disappointed. there is a reason its out of stock with no back in stock date. mono price tech offered a replacement when back instock or credit towards thier web page, but I just an amp that woks......smh..

Fades when switching channels is a deal breaker but sounds amazing!
I tried two of these to see if the first one had a defect. When switching from clean to overdrive channels, it takes 2 full seconds to reach volume. When playing in a band, you need that channel to come in right away. Huge oversight from Monoprice Stage Right! The second was an Amazon Warehouse deal and I decided to keep it despite this really bad flaw. I couldn't play my Blackstar HT-5 after this because the Stage Right sounds so much better. I hope there's a way I can mod the circuit to make the switching quicker but I doubt it.

Absolute badass
If this had fender written on the front people would line up to pay twice as much for it. This is an amazing value. The reverb is subtle, and the speaker leaves room for upgrades, but out of the box this is by far the best amp in the price range on the market.

Grounding issues
I have the baby brother 15-watt tube amp from monoprice and it works well. This 50-watt version has a ground issue. The buzz/feedback coming out of it makes it pretty much unusable. Can't use the dirty channel at all with any kind of gain and can't use the clean channel with even a minimum amount of gain from pedals.

I love it, but stick to the clean channel
I haven’t found that the clean channel is much better than the dirty channel. This is a really great amp that sounds amazing if you just use pedals with a clean channel. Great build construction. I bought the 15 watt then this one. They both are great but the 15 way is a little better sound.

Hubby Seems to Like It!!
My husband seems to like his Christmas present. He has only used it three times so far but is quite impressed with it. Anything music and guitar related impresses him though. Great amp so far!
