Fabulous item, have been using for quite a few months now without fail. The small jug works great as a chopper for onions (I hate cutting onions!), the larger one is good for pestos, smoothies, soups. Stick blender works perfectly well. It's really good power, and I like that the strength is adjustable. It doesn't overheat with use and is easily to clean. Haven't used the whisk attachment yet so can't comment on that one.

Nice and powerful, build quality appears very good, the extras fit well, it's fast, good value for money, easy to clean. I don't think it's excessively noisy but it is a power tool after all. I've chopped nuts which was very easily dealt with. I also made mayonaise which came up brilliantly. I like the tool, very good item.

Excellent product. However, as is typical, the 2 year warranty expired a couple months ago and now the ActiveBlade Stick Blender has dislodged a bearing and sounds rattly. Bugger.

Design is morden and easy to clean. Powerful speed so it can blend everything within a minute. It is a bit expensive but it does it job and last long. Happy with the purchase.

The hand blender is superb.This Braun blender made very quick work of all the vegetables making up my soup. I just wish I had had this whole set of equipment years ago. These tools are sturdy and amazing value for the price. I highly recommend.

We thought this would be a good quality blender, but it stopped working after 2 years 3 months (the warranty covers 2 years). We used it sparsely, maybe once per week on average, and with normal food. When we asked about repair options, Braun's customer service response, and I'm not kidding, is to buy another one: "In regards to your options with this unit, our service center unfortunately don't offer repairs for these, simply because the cost to customers such as yourself for repair would be equal to the amount to replace the unit, so it would be in your best interests to purchase a replacement instead (which would entitle you to a fresh 2 year warranty period)."

I bought this to replace an earlier (20 year old) Braun stick blender - that one was still working fine but I’d cracked the jug and couldn’t source a replacement. This one is noticeably better - quieter but 3 times the power with simpler controls. I’ve been using it mainly to purée sauces and soups in a pan, as well as some other things like blitzing veg in the jug as well as making pastry.
