Studebaker SB2003 Retro Portable AM/FM Radio AC or Battery Operated (Rose Gold)

This little radio is great. Exactly as pictured. The sound is very good for what i need in the kitchen or batteries for outside. I am very impressed. It is very good value for the money and the pink is adorable. Love the retro look.

I was searching for a small vintage looking type "transistor radio" to replace my small bathroom radio of 30 yrs that finally quit on me. Amazon had quite a few choices and I finally chose this one. After receiving it and opening the box, I was surprised and a bit disappointed because it was MUCH bigger than what I wanted. I should've looked at the details before ordering because it clearly gives the dimensions. That was all my fault for not looking but I just thought all "transistor radios" were small like my old one. So after plugging it in (it also runs on 4 C batteries which I use as I don't like cords showing) and turning it on, I was shocked and VERY happy with it! The sound that comes out of this radio is INCREDIBLE! It sounds like a big stereo! I can tune in numerous channels with no static whatsoever. The looks of this radio is retro and EXACTLY what I was looking for! Its very sturdy and lightweight. With my old radio, I crossed my fingers to get it tuned in, but this one tunes in so easily. Even though it was bigger than what I was wanting, this wound up being a perfect match for me! I actually look forward to turning it on in the mornings while I get ready. This radio is FANTASTIC!

I bought this radio wanting something small for my dressing room. I was AMAZED at the amount of stations I could dial in with such clarity and crystal clear sound. Great buy for the price and love the retro style look. I bought the pink one . Would definitely recommend!

Simple, but nicely designed radio. Does the job and looks nice. Keep in mind if you want to use it on mains power, it only works with 110 volts.

Studebakers were good values as cars and now they are as a radio. For $30 or so, this little radio performs with a nice sound, smooth analog controls, drift free, clear FM. Too add to the fun, this radio is attractive to look at, little details give it a car radio touch, like the chrome eye brow bezels around the dial and volume, etc. The type face used is a nice detail as well. The color is spot on forl the period. My neighbor was over the other day and admired it with delight. I know she did not have a radio and complained about internet radio difficulties. It was here birthday several days ago and I bought this one as a surprise, so that amkes two I've actually bought. She has written to me now three times to tell me how much she enjoys it. Had it with all day gardening. She has rediscovered radio. That makes me happy because I am partners in here favorite radio station. Studebakers rock. It's an excellent buy and makes for a loved and unusual gift. I have not put batteries in it yet, so no battery life rating.

This adorable radio truly reminds me of the old one my grandma had when I was a kid. I love the muted pink color, and the sound quality is surprisingly good for a small portable radio. I use this in my basement at my work bench, and the reception is excellent - I'm able to dial up my favorite stations easily. The only possible drawback might be if you are a "station surfer" - manually locating the station on the dial is a bit more time consuming than just pushing a preset button.

in this day and time, not too many people from my understanding use the radio but choose instead streaming music services. My mom however, is in her late 70s and the world of the Internet is still a mystery to her. So I bought this in hopes that the nostalgic look and function would appeal to her liking. Both she and myself were not disappointed. The radio is made of good quality, and has a really nice aesthetic. Look to it. Very easy to use and does everything that a radio should do. Highly recommended.

My wife and I discovered that we did not actually have a radio in the house. Plenty of ways to get radio programming online, of course, but no actual radios. At least, we needed an emergency battery radio on hand. This radio fills that need, but it's much more. The gorgeous retro look and simple controls take me back to my high school days when I won a transistor (!) radio in a movie raffle. It takes 4 C batteries but you can also run it off a cord. Has jacks for headphones and auxiliary in. The surprising thing is the sound, which is excellent.
