A Mate's Bite (Sassy Mates Series) Paperback – February 14, 2014

Karla and Nate's story has lots of drama and fun adventures. Karla is keeping Nate at arms length due to how she was raised by watching her mother chase men who didn't want long term relationship. We get to read about all our favorite characters from Sassy Mates series! I can't wait to read more!!

I want to preface the following reviews by saying that I am not a true fan of erotica, I find that it can often get coarse and lapse into unnecessary description of the act of sex, without touching on any romance or emotional levels for the characters. I am happy to say that Taiden has managed to fully develop her rutting wolves into compassionate characters with hearts of gold. Yes, there is a lot of sex involved in both books, but you cannot help but falling in love with the Wolfe brothers, and the entire Wolfe family for that matter. We cannot forget sister, Ellie; nor mom and dad.Normally I would segregate the reviews into two parts, but I feel that the two books compliment each other so well that they shouldn't be parted.What begins in Scent a Mate is the story not just of a couple coming together after years of tormenting themselves; but the beginning of a family saga. The Wolfe family, and leaders of the pack, hold everyone that is dear to them, close to their hearts and their souls. Through a delightful attention to detail and character development, Taiden introduces all of the characters in what I hope will be a beautiful series, touching each member of the family. I am seeing an epic saga in my mind, and can only hope that Taiden has it within her to cover each family member; and then bring us an epic conclusion. Am I asking too much?Yes, these are books that clearly fall into the erotica category, but unlike so many novels before that fall short in plot and story development; Taiden has blasted into the realm of dramatic story with a compliment of steamy sex scenes that...honestly, will make your panties damp. Yes, you heard that here. My own wolf better watch out tonight, he may get ravaged.Minor issues with fact consistency and odd phrase selections, left the stories lacking the ability to earn the coveted 5 Star reviews; but without a doubt I am honored to say that both rank at a 4.5 Star level.

O.M.G.! What an amazing story. First let me say a marking ceremony was the catalyst to thus adventure. Ok Sassy ladies and the men or shall I say wolves that know what they want. Drama for sure and a plot for revenge is a foot and beware the new she wolf she'll get you. Having issuses with excepting the real deal is what Karala is having but she can turn arou d and let herself have it all. Oh yeah next book pauh-lease.

Another book in the Sassy Mate series brought to you by Milly Taiden and her amazing writing. Just as the first book, I love the cover and to me a cover is always the first thing that will always get me to take interest in the book. This one follows Karla and Nate, with this couple there seems to be a little more trouble brewing and things they have to overcome to be able to be together. Communication is always a big factor and these two seems to lack this especially after the scenting ceremony in the first book! Karla has trust issues especially around men so its harder with her attraction to Nate, and Nate is different but will have to show her and prove it. Will he be able to gain her trust or will they be a lost love? That is a twist that the author will make you read (and she definitely loves to bring twists if you have read any of her other books). Let me tell you though the author has definitely not disappointed her readers with this book and I feel that her books just keep getting better as her stories come out especially with this series (and that is hard to say because I loved the first one immediately) so I anxious to see what she will bring to me on her third book. There are secondary characters that she has left open for books so we will see who she chooses to bring to us next. One thing is for sure this author definitely knows how to write her sexy scenes that will keep you coming back for more, I know I do. I highly recommend this amazing book for wolf shifter lovers who aren't afraid to read books with hot scenes!

Not to mention someone still seems to be after Jordan and Kass, Karla's identical twin, shows up to cause problems. And now a bit about the story...We start at the same scenting ceremony from book one, but this time "Spot" (aka Nate) sneaks up on Karla. Before we know if they are naked and having a glorious time! Karla even gets a little bite out of it to mark her as his. Of course she doesn't know this and then all hell breaks loose. It's three weeks later before she even sees or hears from him, little does she know he stops by at night just to check on her and be near her... if only they would communicate! When rouges and humans start attacking the drama escalates ... tune into see who's up to no good this time!Favorite Passages:- “Words,” she shrugged, “they’re easy to say. Actions speak louder, son. Your mate needs proof that you’re not going anywhere.”- Oh she wanted him bad. More than her next breath or even more than she’d ever wanted another man in her life.- “You’re a genius, Mom.” She grinned. “I know. Took your father all of thirty seconds tied to my bed to acknowledge it.” “Mom! I don’t want to hear that kind of stuff!”- My life is here, with people that love me for me, not for what they can get out of me.”

I loved every minute of this book,it had everything,it was funny,sexy,exciting and I loved all the shifters and their mates,these books only get better and I don't know how that's possible because their so good to begin with,I would definitely recommend these books to everyone they sizzle.

A Mates Bit (Sassy Mates Series Book 2) by Milly Taiden. Nate has loved Karla since he first met her. Karla has serious hang ups due to the way she was brought up. Nate’s gets her pregnant and works hard to prove to her he is not going anywhere.

This is the second in this series and like the others, can be read as a standalone book but is better when read in order. The Wolfe boys (MEN!!!!) are all hot and single, but apparently not for long. They each need mates and their little sister's best friends seem to fit the bill. Great characters, excitement and humour- all very sexy sexy sexy Christine Holmes [email protected]

Great read. Leaves you wanting more but happy with the ending, loved both books and can't wait for book 3 ,Author has a great style of writing it grabs you ,Book length I felt was just right not to short you would be unhappy but long enough that it didn't feel like it was getting dragged outHighly recommended

I loved 'Karla & Nate's' story! I absolutely love Milly's books and I am never disappointed, this one is no different! I love all the main characters as well as secondary characters(except Kass)! I am now looking forward to the next book in this awsome series!!
