The FLIPstrike target is a flexible, foam material (not a rigid plastic). Two separate pieces slip together in the middle to create one target. Given as a gift so no other use feedback to report but was much flimsier than anticipated. Cannot image it will last very long at all.

It wouldn't work
I put batteries in it and it wouldn't work. I went out and bought new batteries and those didn't work either.

My kiddo likes it although it is much smaller than I expected.
