1500W Bone Saw Machine

Pros: Easy set up, solidly built, works good for its size. Con: the safety pusher guard will hit the saw blade if you are not careful. I’d rate at 4.5 stars if that was an option

QUALITY LITTLE SAW. IT IS SUPER SHARP AND VERY FUNCTIONAL. A LITTLE OF A PAIN TO CLEAN BUT WELL WORTH IT

So I needed to step up my butchering by moving from a hand meat saw to elect band saw. The reason is pretty obvious, hand meat saws are difficult at best. We raise meat sheep and process our own. Cutting chops was messy. As a gift to myself, I reviewed several saws and picked up this one. The pros - it was already assembled including a saw blade. Note that the blade was cranked down overly tight. Do NOT turn on the machine until you check the tension and loosed it. The saw when turned on was pretty quiet and vibration free. The table top was secure and I felt confident cutting big pieces. You can go as quickly or slowly as you want. I didn't use the protective pusher device as I'm familiar with band saws. Safely tip - don't let anyone talk to you when using a saw like this. Someone wrote to help with cleaning, spray the interior with food grade mineral oil. That was a great tip! Easy wash down. Bag up the motor of course. Now the bad, the top has a slot cut into it to install the blade. Someone at the factory cut this and left super jagged steel burns that stick up and right on the path of the meat. Really sloppy work. I need to maybe get a triangular steel file to try and get those out. The bottom door latch is also hard to use as the lift end is flattened and impossible to get behind with a finger. I use a teaspoon and leverage open. Sloppy. It comes with several blades. I used this saw on a 230 lb dorper and feel it will buzz through another half dozen before maybe needing a change. Overall the functionality is good, the finish is lacking as noted. I'm hoping the motor stays strong as on my next use, I'll be past the warranty. If they fixed those two issues, it would be 5 stars.

Works very well, what size saw blades does it use?

Saw started having major issues after 2 months of use. The motor keeps making noises every time we use it and kicking off. Not worth the money and no way to return it now.

Although I haven’t had a chance to use this saw yet, the quality of construction along with the large HP motor and extra blades appears to be a decent product. The only downside so far is I’m finding it nearly impossible to locate additional blades for this particular machine. I will further review this product at a future date after giving it a decent workout.

Do not have minced meat box and protective cover for motor so you can not wash it

We use this to process our lambs. It works exceptionally well, easy to use, and worth every penny.
