Horses find the smell and taste agreeable. Both of them are eager to receive their dose after they smell it. On stressful days when both horses receive this they do show fewer signs of stomach discomfort than they typically do otherwise.

Only approved ulcer treatment for horses
It's expensive but the only FDA approved ulcer treatment for horses. My horse eats it as a top dressing on his supplements. Again, IT IS EXPENSIVE but I feel it's worth it.

No more ulcers--very happy horse
Due to having Cushings, Boomer has to be partially confined. Boomer (horse) has been on Ulcergard for over a month now--according to directions on the label. He is a very happy and active senior (20 years old) with no more symptoms of stomach discomfort of ay kind.
