Just as described and my kids love it

I bought this for my kids playroom and needed something small. They have not stayed off of it. In the sitting position, it is firm and easy for adults to sit on and get out of. When opened for the sleeper position, where your head would go is very hard, but the kids can't tell with pillows. We are all happy.

It's the perfect size for my small space

It's the perfect size for my small space. Keep in mind it is small and really only fits one person and not the most comfortable couch in the world. The reason I gave the 4 stars, is that it looks nice and functions well as an extra place to sit and extra sleeping space. In terms of practicality it gets a high rating. For comfort only I would rate it as a 2.

Durable and sturdy

Very sturdy and easy to move around. The sleeper mattress is very comfortable and the pillow is firm and just the right support for the back. A good buy.

which makes the sofa less comfortable when used as a bed and makes it heavier

Not as advertised: Bed width is only 46-47", not 55.12. The sofa has a wooden frame work, which makes the sofa less comfortable when used as a bed and makes it heavier, to move out of the way.. I had one of these years ago and loved it until I wore it out.. It would be much better without the wood frame, and no need for casters. In the terms of Li'l Abner; Put it back the way it was.
