Q: why is there no mention of the actual production capacity of this item? how much volume can be made?

Hello, This is a "6 Quart" Ice Cream Freezer. You put about 4 quarts of mix in, and after freezing and mixing, it becomes about 5-6 quarts. You need the 6 quart capacity size to allow the mix to flow without overflowing. The amount is also dependent on how much air you whip into the mix. The commercially made ice cream includes air called "overrun".

Q: How long does it take to make ice cream with this hand crank?

If your mix is pre-chilled in the refrigerator and bucket is room temp it takes 15-20 minutes till you can't turn the crank anymore. Then let it sit another 10 minutes to finish cold soaking for a more firm ice cream.

Yes, they are assembled and manufactured by small shops in USA, by folks who pay their taxes and contribute to the American society.

Q: whats the difference between the Premium 6 qt. and the standard 6 qt, Immergood ice cream maker?

The gears and gear holder area is the same, made with Stainless Steel gears and parts. The Standard has a powder coated steel housing and crank and a fiberglass tub.
