Q: Will this help with the break in?

It will definitely soften the leather, but I have always been told that you want to break in the boots BEFORE you oil them. I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make, but I buy Danners, which take a while to break in, and my boot guy recommended that I let them form to my foot THEN treat them.

Q: Will this fill in scuff marks?

Makes the color of my boots darker all over so the scuff marks don't show as bad. But doesn't really fill in the mark.

Q: Is this safe to use on leather flip flops? Not sure about it being directly against skin.

I would think it should be fine, I don't think there is anything harsh in it but haven't used it against skin myself
