its a cheap weight belt, ok for light use and storage, deteriorates ito nothing in about a year . still cheap and worth buying but consider it disposable, the last one i ordered had zipper failure the first time i closed t with soft weights in it, total zipper blow out, i ordered anothe because they are cheap enough, i guess, obviously a chinese made product

I purchased a similar product brand which would fit but the belt made it difficult to impossible to tighten, by the end of the dive my weights were at my ankles. Making it difficult to use. This one, 6 pocket, comes with a long belt easy to adjust. I have not used it for diving but it’s already 100 times better than the other brand to don and tighten. Quality is as good as the other brand I had. So I would expect it to last as long as the first and more. To test before I go diving, I wore 16 lbs around the house for 2 hours (Mesh weights). Was comfortable with enough.

I purchased this belt for my wife, to get the weights out of her BCD. With the weights in the BCD, it was just too heavy and cumbersome. The weight belt allowed her to separate the weights making it easier to manipulate her gear. I've used a separate belt sine the 1980's and personally like it better than the integrated weight pouches in the BCDs. My son prefers the integrated system, so just personal preference. The belt will slip and the buckle may shift as you descend due to the compression the the suit and body, but that's normal, unless they used a rubber lining, like a freediving belt to stop this. It was a good purchase for the price.

I really enjoy this belt. It is mesh all along one side and has a long zipper across the top. It is simple, without extra cushions and such, but it does the job. I would have love one with extra cushioning, but wasn't willing to pay twice as much. So the 5 stars is for what it has, not for what it doesn't have. (Can't compare apples to oranges.)It stated that the pockets could hold 5 lbs. each. They can... but my 5 lb. soft weights are definitely the limit! I had to jiggle them in!The strap is plenty long, the clip is sturdy and I don't worry that it's going to come loose. I feel very comfortable in this belt.

I have never bought a scuba belt that did not have Velcro or a buckleI fortunately have Velcro so I was able to fix it

Expensive compared to others.

It comes in a long enough size that you can adjust the belt length if you're skinnier. Fit well for me and I'm a 34/36" waist and wore it over my wetsuit... had plenty of length that can be cut off if needed.

Love this belt. It will hold heavy weights without any chance of ripping or tearing.
