World, Children's, 37x54

We love our map! Both my 2 and my 5 year old have spent HOURS looking at it and all the small graphics. The little pictures have sparked many conversations between my kids, husband and I. They will ask questions about the pictures and it's been a great jumping off point for learning about other cultures and animals. The map is very large and nice and bright.

This map was an instant hit with my granddaughter who loved the pictures of the animals and fish dotted around. My 33 yr old daughter said that she wished she had one when she was little. The only drawback we found was that it is really big and cannot be simply blue-tacked to the wall. My husband had to pin it to a wooden frame which took a bit of time and effort to construct. However, it was worth the effort.

Bigger than i expected....teach me to look at measurements more closely!! On the down side, i would say it doesn't outline the countries and has alot of detail, thus making it too complicated for my 5 year old but would be fab for an older child. However, very good quality, laminated - so great for little fingers, lots to look at.

The map itself is fantastic for kids. Lots of colour, interesting shapes, information that keeps kids hunting for stuff. Scales are a bit out but nothing drastic. The quality wasn't great. There we some series creases and folds in the map. It was excellently packaged, no problems there.....

I bought this map because I want to show my 4 year old daughter where her daddy is when he is away on business, and also where some of her friends come from. There is loads of information on the map and she has found it very interesting although there are some pictures (the acupunture man) that she doesn't like to look at! My only complaint is that it doesn't show boarders and I think that is quite important when looking at the location and size of different countries. I would however recommend it as it was the best I could find.
