This is a great book for information about the parks. It is not meant to be read as a cover-to-cover book. It has a good index to be able to look up info as needed. I do wish the index was a bit better.

Lots of useful info for planning and getting “insider” details while exploring. My daughter is not a fan of scary rides so this guide helped us pick what rides would be best. I also liked the special suggested itineraries so we had a general plan for each day.

If you are planning a universal vacation, grab this book first! Gives you all the info for everything from hotels, flights, time of year, rides, food, money saver hacks. A must read at any point in the planning process

I haven't gone to Universal yet so I can't say how truthful the information is but it had a lot of useful information.

Alot of info in this book

This book was great for details on every ride. I have a timid 9 yr old who wanted details on each ride. The app wasn’t any where near as specific as this book was. I found it to be very helpful and worth it.

This guidebook gave us excellent information on the rides, including their history! I highly recommend it!

I have always found the 'unofficial' guides useful. The authors clearly love the places (in this case Universal Orlando) but have just the right amount of cynicism about the hype that comes from the owners of the park. We have never followed their plans to the letter, but have learned enough tips to make our time there more efficient and enjoyable. Highly recommended particularly for first-time visitors.

A great book full of A LOT of information. The writing is very small though. It is hard to read. It is very dry reading. Maybe they should add some photos to break up the monotony. It is like reading a text book for school. The Blue writing is even harder to read and does nothing to enhance the information.

This book is fantastic, so much information and tidbits crammed into it. If you like visual books with lots of pictures, this is not for you. However, if you are happy to read, you will be more than adequately armed and ready to ‘hit’ Universal with all the information you need to have a fun time. I love the guidelines for each ride - age, scary-ness and the one and two day itineraries for seniors, grown families and those with young kids. It gives guidance on best times of year and days to go, where to eat, best places to stay etc. but it is so much more.
