After a car accident I needed a large full back ice pack that would help with my pain relief. It is made of quality materials, and works great. Even better it Velcros on to the body so I can use it while I work at my desk. It provides pain relief for those that need cold on their back. I'm 5ft 1' and the side covers me head to toe. It stays cold for more than 30 mins and comes with a package to protect it in the freezer.

I had an L3-4, L4-5 fusion, and this ice pack was a lifesaver! Because of experiencing a lot of swelling, I had to ice continuously for several days. I'm so glad I had this ice pack. It enabled me to ice for extended periods, and did not get me wet as it came back to room temperature. It works very well. It did not require a towel between it and my nightgown. It covered my lumbar area well, plus felt great with the extra coolness coming up my spine. It is absolutely worth the money. It refreezes quickly and remains flexible when frozen. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures while wearing it, but I'm still in week 1 after surgery so not really in the mood (or able) to pose for pics!! If you are undergoing any kind of spinal surgery, do yourself a favor and get one of these. You will love it!

I was very impressed with how well this vest is made - really a quality product for the price as far as workmanship goes. It took me a minute to figure out I was trying to put it on upside down but once I figured that out it went in easy with nice stretchy adjustable Velcro straps. Even as a woman with boobs it was comfortable with straps over chest because the straps are very wide and stretchy. Very adjustable with the Velcro feature. I froze this overnight in the freezer - I wrapped it tightly in a plastic bag so it would absorb no odors. It’s kind of bulky but no bigger than a lot freezer food items. I was gobsmacked at how cold this thing was when I put it on. If you want it on bare skin the lining is very soft and non-irritating. However I only had it on (laying down in it) for maybe 10 minutes before I had to take it off as it was just too cold (numbing) on bare skin. I think you’d have to be a bit careful - like not fall asleep with it on. Wearing it over a light T-shirt was better but still if you are laying on it it might get uncomfortably cold rather quick. If you were just walking around it’s much better because it isn’t plastered against your skin. Which brings me to the only negative: This thing is heavy! When you think about it you are basically wearing a heavy water filled vest- I do think that you would get accustomed to it - but if you are small framed it really is a bit much. I think this would be fantastic for road construction crews or working in hot environments - men should find it quite manageable. I think it’s worth it for the price to try - it’s so well made. I can’t vouch for how long it stays frozen as I didn’t have it out long enough to thaw while wearing. I did notice a bit of condensation when I set it out to thaw before returning - it left some water on the counter - but this is typical for anything with ice inside that melts. Overall worth the try!

For around shoulders a little off but tolerable. Ice cold relief was wonderful. Stayed cold for a little longer than hour. And very soft on velour side. Silk side didn’t sweat at all as reported possible. Definitely recommend 💯 for back and neck pain!!

I got this to help recover from a muscle spasm in my shoulder blade. At this point companies need to hire a real human to wear the product. I think the size is misleading in the pictures above. This a full back ice pack, you would assume it to be large in the first place, but this is not ideal for grown men to use. The perfect size for teens or average women. The straps are awkward. I bought this product with the understanding that I could cover more of my back and heal, but in the end I might return it to get something that will work.

This ice vest is awesome!! I am large, so I couldn't crisscross the straps and be comfortable. However, I just attach them under each arm and it works just as well. It covers all of my back. The design is perfect because it covers my shoulders and my back. It is nice and thick and stays cold for a long time. I highly recommend this if you are experiencing temporary back pain. Well worth it !!

This is the way to go if you need to apply ice to the back. It covers the back, so there are no missed areas. It is easy to fasten on. I find lying on my back or sitting up with it pressed to my back maximizes exposure to the healing cold. I have been using it a few times a week since I got it, especially after cupping, deep tissue massage, or A.R.T. work has been done, and I am noticing a huge difference in my recovery. Its flexible velcro straps make it easy and comfortable to place on and hold in place if you don't want to sit back or lie on it. Its ability to retain the coolness of the ice works great. I may have solved the issue of my wife not wanting us to get an AC Unit installed this summer lol.

It's not as cold as ice packs, but it fits ok and feels ok. Edit: Actually, if it was too cold it probably wouldn't work. I've upgraded my review because I agree with the level of cold chosen
