Lovely little machine for beginners. Bought it for my 10 year old. A bit tricky to get started but the instructions are clear to follow

I’m really happy I bought this electric mini sewing machine. I’ve always wanted to try sewing but didn’t want to invest in a big or expensive machine as a beginner. This one is the perfect size for home use and learning, and it comes with everything I needed to get started. The machine itself is lightweight but sturdy, and it doesn’t take up too much space on the table. It came with an extension table, which is great for larger pieces of fabric and gives extra support when sewing. The machine is easy to use, even for someone like me who had no experience before. The instructions are clear, and I was able to start sewing straight away. What I really liked is that it comes with 42 sewing tools — lots of thread in different colours, needles, bobbins, scissors, a seam ripper, and more. I didn’t need to buy anything else separately. It’s all included, which makes it a great value for the price. The two speed settings are really useful. I started with the slower speed to practise, and then moved to the faster one as I got more confident. It sews smoothly and evenly, and I’ve already done simple repairs and small craft projects with no problems. You can use the foot pedal or the button control, whichever you prefer, and switching between the two is easy. It’s also very quiet compared to bigger machines, which I appreciate since I like to sew in the evening. The built-in light helps me see my stitches clearly, and the machine feels safe and well-designed. Threading it is simple after the first time, and changing the bobbin is quick.

I purchased this little machine as I wanted to learn how to sew. I didn't want to spend a lot of money in case I wasn't very good or didn't enjoy it! Initially, I intended to buy a second hand machine, but they were starting at £50 and I didn't want to spend that much. I saw this on Amazon for £32, the reviews looked good, so I thought I'd take a chance. It is a great little machine and good value for money. Mine came with a manual, foot pedal, a little table attachment and a box with threads, needles, needles threader, tape measure, so I was able to start straight away. With the help of various YouTube videos, I have learned to sew in a very short amount of time. The machine is very straight forward to use as it it only does one type of stitch. Perfect for a beginner! It is very compact and lightweight so easy to move around and store. It is quite noisy, I don't notice it too much, but it does annoy others in my home, so something to be awe of I'd noise levels are an issue for you. It is a very made of plastic so does not look especially pleasing, and the purple and white colour scheme makes it look a little like a toy, but don't let that put you off, it's a great little machine, I'm very glad I purchased it! Highly recommended.

Broke within 2 months and can’t get a refund. The foot pedal doesn’t move the needle anymore, simply turns the light off when pressed. Watch the video. Utterly useless.

I recently bought the Mini Sewing Machine for Beginners. Here's what I think: Pros: 1. Comprehensive Set: This kit is quite impressive, featuring a variety of colorful threads with bobbins, extra needles, and even fabric pieces. 2. Extension Table: The extension table with a ruler is a helpful addition, making sewing more convenient. 3. Included Fabric: It's nice that the package includes two fabric pieces (30x34cm each) to get you started. Cons: 1. Poor Lighting: The built-in light is quite inadequate, making it challenging to see your work clearly. 2. Limited Sewing Power: The machine struggles with sewing through 5 layers of fabric, which can be frustrating. 3. Speed Control: The machine only offers fast and slow modes, and the slow mode isn't as slow as you might expect. 4. Batteries Not Included: It's disappointing that the set doesn't come with batteries, so be prepared to have some on hand. 5. Single Stitch Option: Having only one stitch pattern limits creativity and versatility. 6. No Back Stitch: The absence of a back stitch feature means you'll have to manually turn the fabric, which can be time-consuming. 7. Low-Quality Accessories: The scissors and stitch ripper included in the kit are of poor quality. In summary, it is a decent starter kit with a good selection of accessories. However, it does come with some limitations, like poor lighting and struggles with thicker fabrics. It's suitable for basic sewing tasks but may not meet the needs of more advanced sewers.

A good, basic mini sewing machine. Good for quick repairs. I used it to recycle some old worn jeans into a Teddy bear. I am someone that doesn't sew but I found this easy to use and did the job I wanted it for. Not sure how durable its going to be but seems to work well at the moment. Good value for money in my opinion as it comes with a variety of coloured threads and the all important needle threader. I also like that it has a thread cutter on the front of the machine, for convenience.

My daughter likes to do handicrafts very much, but we moved and it is far away from the place where handicrafts are made, so I can only take her there once a month. A friend recommended me to buy this machine for her to play with, but I was always worried that it would be dangerous for her to play with it without a teacher around. Unexpectedly, this small machine is very user-friendly. There is a small shell on the needle to protect the hand from being pricked, and there is no need to use scissors to cut after sewing. The small machine is also thoughtfully designed with a very safe knife that can directly cut the thread without the fingers touching it. It is really suitable for a careless child like my daughter. The most important thing is its price. It is not as expensive as I imagined. I gave it to her as a small summer vacation gift. She is now happy and not bored. She also made a small bag for her brother.

This is a good quality sewing machine for smaller jobs it will sew through 2 layers of denim easily, which is no small thing for a battery powered machine, the stitching quality is good and neat, the added included accessories are a bonus and the extension table is useful to have, the only is i would of liked is a reverse stitching function and a brighter sewing light, but at this price point you can't have everything and what you get in this neat little package is a excellent value for money easy to use sewing machine, which i would recommend to anyone
