Very cute!
These were really cute. The girls thought it was great they were edible, even though they weren't very tasty - not bad, what you would expect from Rice paper. And it's gluten free - birthday girl is a celiac. :)

Presentation is everything
I recently purchased edible butterflies to add a special touch to the cupcakes I made for my mother-in-law, and they were absolutely delightful! The butterfly toppers added a whimsical and elegant element to the cupcakes, making them not only delicious but visually stunning as well. The edible butterflies were easy to work with. They arrived in perfect condition, and the colors were vibrant and eye-catching. I simply placed them on top of the freshly frosted cupcakes, and they adhered beautifully. The delicate wings of the butterflies added a lovely texture to the cupcakes, making them look like little works of art. When I presented the cupcakes to my mother-in-law, she was amazed by the butterfly toppers. She appreciated the attention to detail and the extra effort I put into making them look special. It was a delightful surprise for her, and she couldn't help but admire the intricate designs of the butterflies. The best part was that the butterflies were completely edible! They were made from high-quality, food-safe materials, ensuring that they were safe to consume. When my mother-in-law tasted the cupcakes, she was not only pleased with the delicious flavor but also enjoyed the extra crunch and sweetness that the butterflies provided.I must say, the edible butterflies truly elevated the cupcakes and made them a memorable treat. They added a touch of elegance and creativity that impressed not only my mother-in-law but everyone who saw them. If you're looking to add a special touch to your baked goods, I highly recommend trying out these edible butterflies. They will surely leave a lasting impression!

Cute decorations for cakes
They worked great for me. I put them over a cake. Be sure to use them after cake is out of the fridge so they don’t get humid. Nice taste.

Cute... gross
Cute, but tastes horrible. It's like cardboard melting on your tongue, 3 stars because the appearance though

Very pretty, one-sided and flavorless as advertised
I got these as an edible sugar-free and gluten-free decoration, which is harder to find than you'd think! These lovely butterflies are printed on one side on edible wafer paper, which is like heavy card stock with a little glossy sealant over the inked side. The inks are a bit less vibrant than the pictures, sort of a soft pastel, and the blue/teal and pink/peach are rather similar. They don't have much taste - sort of like communion wafers - and (good news) the ink doesn't seem to have any taste either. They arrived packaged nicely in a resealable plastic zip bag and separated easily. A few of them had some white damage spots, mostly minor, so I would recommend getting a few more than you'll actually need.To bend them, I placed a skewer in the center and then gently lifted the wings up for a rounded crease. For cupcakes, I used edible gum arabic glue to stick two butterflies of the same color back to back, to give a 3-D effect when the wings were bent and to make them sturdier. Some of the doubled butterflies developed a slight white crack on the bottom when I bent them, but it was fine as it was on the bottom where they were attached to the cupcake.I recommend adding the butterflies to the cake as late as possible if you can. Even doubled for extra stiffness, they softened in the refrigerator overnight so that the wings drooped open a bit, but it turned out looking fine for the wings to be open anyway. One of the single-layer butterflies on a cake had half a wing droop down overnight , so it needed to be replaced with a fresh one in the morning. Again, you'll probably want to fold a few extras and keep them handy in case you need to do a last-minute swap for a droopy one.
