Sinoparcel D4S Xenon Bulb -2 Years Warranty- 35W 42V 8000K HID Headlight Replacement- Discharge Lamp -Pack of 2 -Compatible with 42402 66440 42402XV

I bought these for a 1st generation (2011) Volvo XC60 when one of the old bulbs had gone a dull purple colour. I had done the usual thing of checking Halfords and Euro car parts but was shocked to see the cheapest D1S for over £50 each from established brands. I knew that it was advisable to replace both at the same time and really didn't want to fork out over £100 on bulbs. I found these and decided to give them a go based upon the number of positive reviews. They took about 5 minutes to fit and I am really pleased! I bought the 6000K version because I didn't want them to be too blue, these are perfect! The light has a slightly blue tint which makes the car look more modern and they are brighter than the old bulbs too. Like most other reviewers, I've only had them for about a week so far so I can't comment on longevity but even if I got a year out of them, at £21 a pair, they are 5 times cheaper than the cheapest leading brand and seem to perform equally as well.*Update - 17/08/2024*One of the two bulbs has now failed completely so in total they have lasted 9 months before needing to be replaced again. May buy another set for the price as one of the two is still working. It is a Volvo so the bulbs are basically on all of the time when driving day or night so they have probably had twice as much use as they would have had in a normal car.*Update - 12/09/2024*The other bulb has now started to flicker. I contacted Sinoparcel regarding the two year warranty using the email address in the instruction manual and they were really responsive and apologetic. I sent them proof of purchase (a screenshot of the order off Amazon) a photo of the front of the car and a photo of the bulb fault on the dash and they are sending a new set out to me which should be here in the next 4 days. They haven't asked for the old ones to be returned.*Update - 14/09/2024*The new bulbs arrived packaged from Amazon via our usual delivery driver two days earlier than expected. Now fitted and working well. I was so pleased I also bought another set to keep as spares in the boot.

The housing in the back is about 1mm thicker than the original Xenon bulbs, which made it a bit tricky to get the spring clip back on, especially as the access to the headlight is extremely tight. Everything else is fine. Nice bright light

Quality looks good, well packaged.I fitted to 2013 Jaguar xf 3.0l sportbrake with bixenon headlamps that didn't always illuminate when turned on. I thought it might be faulty ballasts, but changing the bulbs has cured the problem.These bulbs fit without modification and use the existing wiring and ballasts. The light emitted is much brighter and a real upgrade. The beam pattern is possible a bit more diffuse but after lowering the headlamp aim slightly I am not being flashed by on coming cars so probably OK.Have used for a month so can't comment on longevity but I am hoping that it's long as replacing bulbs in my car is a long job involving lowering of the bumper.Would recommend these bulbs and they are a good price.

EDITAfter 5 months of use the bulbs stopped working, I suspect heat issue as the vents stopped cooling. The seller gas instantly replaced both bulbs despite my really negative feedback so I am revising it to four stars. The seller never asked me to do it, nor had any other requests.EDITEDIT.After writing my review the seller reached out to me with a proposal to issue a full refund, and asked me if I would agree. I said yes and a day later they said it was a mistake and blamed Amazon, which I am sure has nothing to do with this. Really bad customer service from Sinoparcel./Edit.I have used these bulbs for a month and I don't find them brighter than HID bulbs, not at all. Within 5 meters of the car they are bright enough but when you get further they definitely fade significantly. My headlights are properly aligned by the authorized dealership, so please don't think I have lowered them too much hense my perseption.Also the cut-off line is definitely not that good as with HID bulbs. It feels like you have been using a torch that is not properly focused.Regarding the light color- it is proper white, not yellowish, not blueish, a bit more on the cold side but not irritating.I can not comment on longetivity as the manufacturer's claim for 30 000 hours would definitely outlive my car. Installation was as easy as "just replace the old HID" and no additional job required. Package and build quality seem good.To finish, It works fine but definitely does not compare to HID quality.

I brought this D4s bulb for my car on 17 th April 2025. It fitted to the car by a mechanic on 19 of April 2025. And right side bulb already stopped working from 22nd of May 2025. Checked with other bulb and confirmed it that bulb is brake. Better not buy. Very bad product.

I bought these as a cheap way of finding out if the bulbs were the cause of my headlights going off and on.. It turns out it was just the bulbs but these xenon bulbs have really impressed. They are just as good as the much more expensive brands. A nice white light. The bulbs were well packaged and even came with gloves to handle them. Would recommend !

It’s been nearly a month since fitted to A7 2012 with original bi-xenon d3s bulbs.Fit is plug and playOutput - not comparable to anything I had so far, including expensive dedicated D3S bulbs.The only worry is how long will these last. So far I can’t complain so if they last as long as any original d3s bulbs - I would be keen to call these one of the best xenon replacement bulbs I ever had. The light is super good.I will only work good on lights with projectors - something to keep in mind.No erros on the dash, no flickering. Looks oem and output is better than anticipated. I decided to buy them based on the existing reviews and so far I am very happy with it.
