Works good, easy installation, and very bright

I liked everything about this fog lights added a cool look to my dune buggy easy install $5 piece of pre drilled metal strip from Home Depot and 2 Muffler clamps from the auto store half an hour and they were in, haven't hooked up the lights yet but it's all ready to go would recommend price is okay will know better as time goes by...

Product looks great. Installation, not so great...if your not experienced. I was an automotive tech for 13 years. My advise is not a knock on the product, just a word to the wise.I received it promptly and in tact. Product worked as it should after installation.So why only a 3?1-Instructions were not included. Not even a basic schematic.2-for mounting on a bull bar, the lights must be disassembled in order to tighten down. The wiring runs through the mounting stud so you cannot tighten down the nut which is inside of the bull bar unless you disassemble the light to remove the wiring.3-several wires were too short and had to be lengthened in order to make connections.4-this product was meant to be wired into an existing circuit (so that it is turned on with either the headlights or factory fog lights or hi beams) and NOT to the battery so that the "supplied switch" turns them on. This was made obvious to me during the installation because there is not a fuse in the power wire to the switch. The kit DOES include a fuse however it is located between the battery and the relay for the secondary power to the lights. But the circuit to the switch is not protected.A little annoying for an installer but not a big deal if you're good at what you're doing. However for the inexperienced DIYer, this can be a pain, not to mention dangerous especially since there is not a schematic showing no fuse in the power wire to the switch. If you didn't know any better then you would install this completely unprotected.This is the reason for a 3 star. There should always be a basic system schematic.If you're a professional installer, quote your labor time at least 1 hour more for disassembly and wiring mods.All that said, they look and operate great!

Fast delivery, great lights(halogen 55w) for the money, they look and work great on my Jeep! Includes everything you need.. however there are no instructions. If your a shade tree mechanic you don't need them anyway. Easy to figure out the wire harness. I like the way the wires come through the center of the mounting bolt of the light, some may not depending on your mounting location.

If you have .a bull bar on the front of your vehicle,these lights are a tough install. I clipped the wires on mine, pulled the wires through the mounting bolts, drilled a hole in the back of the light, installed a rubber grommet in the hole to protect the wires, then put silicone sealant around grommet.This made for an easier install, but I'm sure I voided the warranty,but it worked great for the installation,also note,my truck already had a wire harness from previous lights, so installation was easy, but do yourself a favor, replace the switch supplied with these lights, the one provided is poor at best.

I wanted to have a traditional look for my 2000 Blazer 2 door with grille guard. Seen this set up on 4x4s growing up and like the rugged look and functionality. Install was easy and clean, did need to lengthen the harness wires to the switch to go through the firewall and cab. Not very impressed with the lighting, lights are just a tad bit brighter than stock high beams. The switch adhesive is junk. Cleaned and prepped before removing tape still came off. Got a rocker switch right here on Amazon and it's a total improvement over the switch provided. If you are going for the same results and set up get PIAA, KCs or Hellas or opt out and get LEDs. Stuck with these for now, not dim enough to use as driving fog lights on the road. I get flashed to turn them down by other drivers. They're not bright enough and the range is pretty limited to use for work as work lights on job sites or spot lights on trails. Basically have secondary high beams. So I'm debating on big name brand lights like the ones mentioned or get LEDs. Not something I'd buy and install again on my vehicles!

They look great and rugged , but as far as function, they are a joke, you could stand with your face 5 inches from the bulb, flip them on and they want even make you blink. Extremely weak , cant be mire than 20 watts
