This is a great vacuum for wood floors, your shop, car and as a blower. My only concern is that the tubing gets really HOT when you use the blower for any extended period of time.I also can appreciate how quiet this thing is.

If you own a Dyson you know what having a great vacuum is like. Well this is not a Dyson. I mean it works really well--just not a Dyson.Now on to the blower. I was hoping I could dry my vehicles with this. You can if you have about an hour or so. You have to be like an inch away from the water to really blow any water off. It works decent around the grill and trim work but not so hot for blowing the water off your paint. Overall it is pretty nice to have in my garage just a little pricey and blower function is limited to blowing water off of small areas.

This product performed exactly as expected. The long hose is a series of shorter hoses that connect so you can adjust to the proper length. Suction/blowing power is sufficient for inside car cleaning and outside water blowing after wash. The canister has a set of wheels for easy movement, you don't need the wall mount. I have not tried it for leaf blowing yet as the main purpose was for car maintenance. There is an assortment of nozzles that contribute to the product's utility. Electrical cord is sufficiently long for most tasks.

I have only used the system once so far, so might be early to judge but was hoping to have a bit more suction capability like at a gas station but that is not the case. A big plus is the hose length, that was nice to have.Other down side, not really a wall mountable system. Think someone else mention a possible downside, but I got it hung on the wall. I will update after a few more uses.

The vacuum cleaner arrived with no real instructions, just a sheet of paper with a drawing showing the parts, which was confusing. My model didn't have some of the parts shown on the drawing, and it had others that weren't there. Have so far used the vacuum for cleaning the car and it's very good. Have yet to try the leaf blowing option. The unit itself wheels around like a small canon. Hoses have good suction, even when fully extended. I would recommend it, but wish it came with proper instructions for both vacuuming and blowing.

This is called a "Blaster" - not the description I would give it. I was looking for a product like this that would help me get the job done. This product has far too little power for blowing water off a car or truck. Better suited for a motorcycle or something small. Ineffective!*Note: The image shown on the website is not the product you get and the filters that are suggested for this item don't fit because they are for the item that is shown. Someone should remove the existing product image and replace it with a correct one.Even if I had decided to keep the blower/vac, I would still have the wrong filters because the filters suggested as a proper replacement are the wrong filters.

I have purchased two of the HRS-83BA Metro Vacuums. One from Metro Vac directly and this one from Amazon. Amazon shows an entirely different vacuum than what the product actually is. This is not a tiny vacuum with a shoulder strap. While the description is reasonably correct, the illustration is totally wrong. Go on the Metro Vac website to see what it actually is. Type in HRS-83BA in the search box. This is a long full size vacuum with wheels and a wall mount. You will have to purchase the hose hanger and tool caddy (holder/carrier) if you wish. The tool caddy is a nice option. A hose holder can be purchased for a few dollars using a wall or post mount water hose bracket from any garden department. You know the stores. This vacuum is worth every penny. If Amazon ships the one in the illustration, send it back as you have been ripped off. It is NOT the HRS-83BA. I will probably add the new "Super Extendo™ DetailingCrevice Tool" for sliding under and beside seats. Again Amazon is wrong about the replacement bag offered in another listing. This Vacuum does use the MVC-65A Cloth Dust Bag but it is 21"", not the shorty shown in the illustration. Who proofs this stuff? Go to the Metro Vac site and look at what is truly available. Since it's made in the USA and we like to discontinue things as soon as they prove to be worthy, order anything you may need in the future such as gaskets and brushes. This Vacuum will last a long time with care. At the price it is a superb buy. I will post photos later.

I love this vacuum. I went back and forth between this, and a regular "shop vac" and settled on this to use exclusively for my vehicles, nothing else around the house. It is awesomely powerful, pulls the carpet right up off the floor !!! I have not used it to blow off my cars or bikes yet, but I confident it will perform that just as good as it does as a vacuum. Wall mount saves floor space and keeps the hose clean so it doesn't pull dirt in to the car while you're vacuuming.
