The secret keys were very insightful/helpful and the test-taking strategies and review sections of each subject were easy to follow and straight to the point. I also like how the practice exam is straight from the book, as opposed to other books that make you go online to access a practice exam.

Excellent study book that has all of the knowledge required for the DAT as well as far more. This book has fantastic critical thinking skill suggestions, comprehension skill suggestions, and videos that correspond to each subtitle. To view the videos, simply go to the Mometrix website and use the codes provided in the book. There are over 100 videos available. The book offers very helpful graphs, data charts, and images for visual learners. If the book is complex to interpret, don't fret because definitions, explanations, and answer keys with explanations are provided. This book gives all of the practice you need, and the study book includes a well-organized table of contents that goes over each topic in depth. Secret Keys, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Reasoning, Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, DAT Practice Test, Answer Key and Explanations, and How to Overcome Text Anxiety are all covered in this book. As you can see, the study book focuses not only on DAT material but also on your mental wellbeing on the day of the exam. The book acknowledges that students are anxious, frightened, and stressed about the test, so it contains wonderful solutions to help you overcome these obstacles. Overall, this book is great and I strongly advise you to purchase it.

There are just a few videos on test anxiety and generally stuff you could find on youtube. The book is ok, but do not think that you are getting access to some great online wealth of knowledge.

I really enjoyed this study guide as it took an all-around approach and provided test taking tips. Furthermore, it provided a practice test that allows for you to simulate the test experience. This is a must if you are serious about the DAT!

Great reference for exam. Questions will assist in full preparation . Compact but thorough!

This is not a good representation of the DAT exam. Certain portions are far, far too easy (PAT and QR). There is no metric for converting the problems solved into a final score out of 30 but you'll be scoring "30's" on this practice test and that difficulty is not representative of the DAT. Perhaps worse is that there is some substancial editing needed in the test. There are organic questions in the gen chem section and vice versa. The organic section asks four separate functional group lab tests (Tollen's, Jones, Iodoform, Bromine...) while the DAT asks one or two at max. There are literal editing notes that have been put into the questions in the biology section (attached picture).In conclusion, the material in the book itself is fine if not lengthy, but the final test is bizarre in organization and material tested. I would not recommend this over any other practice test (especially conventional sources like DATBootcamp and DATBooster).
