Great Successor to War for Cybertron
If you loved War For Cybertron, you will love this one even more. Everything about this game is better than the first. You get better graphics, better gameplay, and the story is just awesome. It's a short game and I completed it on normal in about 6-7 hours. Some people miss the co-op campaign but I think it was removed for the better. Each character now has a special set of challenges that wouldn't have been possible with co-op. You really do get more diverse gameplay. The multi-player mode is vastly improved and all the maps are fun. They are not too big but big enough to offer a challenging landscape. With endless customization everyone can have their own unique look. High Moon is going to release a lot of DLC for characters so save up some money if you are into that sort of thing. The only thing I would say is a downgrade is Escalation. My friend and I loved to play that horde mode and we could play for hours. The new escalation mode is limited to 15 waves, and we beat all those maps the first time we played. The AI is a lot smarter, and now they don't bum rush, but instead they hide behind walls and shoot, or snipe you from a distance. it's definitely a lot harder, and if you play it on hard, it is a challenge. You can now upgrade your weapons and the whole team receives the upgrades, but the level 4 upgrade costs 10,000 points. You can't even get that many points to level up to Lvl 4 until wave 13 of 15. I really hope they unlock the horde mode to unlimited waves. All in all, this is an awesome game and High Moon did the TF community proud. It's got special touches that many older fans will appreciate. I highly recommend this game.

Fantastic multiplayer.
I have only played the multiplayer on this games as of now. I will add to this review after I have played the campaign as well. This was a lot of fun. The teams and the boards on Team Deathmatch are small enough to not get lost, but big enough to hide when you are wounded. The arsenal of weapons is versatile. You only start off with a couple of choices for each class. The different classes make the game a real Transformers-Universe gem. With the difference in abilities and firepower, you can find yourself being useful in different ways to your team during the fight (Titans draw fire power and Scientists heal).I have found that the Destroyer class is great for starting out as it is a good well-rounded class.Unless you are a Titan, you can die with just a few hits, but on the plus side, that means you can kill with just a few well placed hits. So take that for what you will. The vehicle mode makes it a lot more fun (third set of ammo to spend getting around the boards quicker). The challenges in Teletran 1 make it easy for newbies to level up quickly with some nice incentives for doing so.The add-on Havoc Pack is worth it.Have fun with this one, it's great!

Transformers answer to Batman
For starters this is clearly a 5 out of 5 game.Unlike war for Cybertron each level seems to be much more distinct. That is there is a Cliff Jumper level where you have a cloak to turn invisible and use stealth to sneak kill Decepticons. There is a Jazz level where you use a grappling hook how to grapple around. Both of those levels feel just like Batman Arkham Asylum. There is also a level where you get to command Metroplex to fire his artillery at hoards of Decepticons, you enter Insecticon hives and get to play as Grimlock and Bruticus. All of those levels are just awesome. The only complaint I have is unlike war for Cybertron when you cannot choose a sublevel. For example on the level where you get to play and Bruticus you must play the first half of the level as Onslaught. My 4 year old son loves playing as Bruticus but I have to play the first part of the level each time to get into that part.Anyway overall I would say this game is more fun than war for Cybertron. So if you love the 80's cartoon you will absolutely love this game.

Frustrating game.
I didn't enjoy War for Cybertron because of the difficulty. I bought Fall of Cybertron for ten dollars. Thankfully I didn't twenty or I would have felt like I lost my money. The graphics is just as good as War for Cybertron. Great environments although I wish this game was more open to exploring. The sound is amazing. The voice overs is fantastic. Just about every character including the basic soldiers have personalities. The game is more serious than the first one.My main problem is the difficulty. I've been playing this game for about two weeks and I finally gave up. The difficulty is a bit much for me. I put it on easy and I still got destroyed quickly. I consider myself a moderate gamer but some games I simply give up. I like challenge but not where its gets too frustrating which is what happened to me. I go online and read walkthrough's or watch video's to see how to get past enemies or levels. The checkpoints is great in that you don't have to start over. You can upgrade your character or guns when you defeat enemies or find hidden items.Again many people will say this is a great Transformers game. Most here on Amazon love it. I consider myself to be a big fan of the cartoons, anime, comics and toys. But this game I wasn't a fan because of the difficulty. Thankfully I spent only ten dollars and didn't get it for twenty. I love transformers but not this game.
